For team in sig I got offered Gronk and 4.2 for Jerrell Freeman, 2.2 and 2.11. I'm pretty weak at TE and Gronk would totally flip my status at TE. Before this offer I was hoping Njoku or Engram would slip to me at 2.2. The guys picking between me at 1.7 and 2.1 all have good TEs on their rosters. Gronk's durability is very concerning and I see him as a luxury rather than a need since I think I am going to add a TE in the draft. But he is Gronk so I have to consider this.
Freeman finished with 200 points last year despite being suspended 3 games. He likely would have finished between 250-260 if he played the entire season. That's good for LB2 (I start 4) in the league and on my team behind Wagner. Freeman is 30 but he's playing his best ball and looks to be a consistently solid IDP while he's in Chicago for atleast two more years. With 2.11 I'm looking at Jamal Adams, I think he's going to be a stud in terms of the box score. He's going to get a lot of chances to make plays in Bowles defense. So I'm looking at the trade like Gronk/4.2 for Freeman, Njoku/Engram, and Adams.
Ultimately I'm leaning towards keeping the picks and targeting the guys mentioned. Reuben Foster or Jarrad Davis would be options if Adams were off the board.
