Fournette or Mixon

I'll be on the clock at 6pm with the #1 pick. I've been thinking all along, Fournette and that's it. Joe Mixon has been creeping into my draft option and I need some input. I think Fournette may pay dividends quicker and feel his floor is a bit higher. I really think Mixon has a higher ceiling with his pass catching chops. He's also 2 years younger. Thanks for any and all input!

Mixon ...all the weapons are there for a high flying offense. Both Jac & Cincy need to shore up o-line before they can be elite though. Thinking Bungles will play more high scoring affairs with more plays per game.

I prefer mixon but I feel if you could trade back to 3 and get something then you'd still be able to get mixon there

In full PPR I think I'd take Corey Davis 1.01. If I didn't I'd then take Fournette who I have a decent margin above the other RBs in this draft. He's a tremendous physical talent. Reminds me of AP.

Davis, Fournette, and Mixon are my top 3.

Mixon for me. I think he has the higher ceiling and Fournette feels like he has a better shot at being a bust...not going off anything solid, just a hunch I've had when I watched him play full games instead of just watching highlights.

My 14 team PPR 0-3 RB (up to 5 WR) draft started today and Fournette went first.

Personally I would have gambled on the upside of Mixon.

agree with these opinions. I think Fournette Davis and Mixon represent the top 3. I have no issue with you taking any of them if thats your guy and no one wants to trade up

I like Mixon's upside better, but I would probably go with Fournette because I feel he has the safer floor. Clearly I'm a real risk taker.

I would take Fournette as he is safer but agree with most that if you are happy with either trade the pick and get something extra while still getting Mixon, but I still take Founette

wow Mixon gathering is strong as ever..Never thought the overwhelming majority would push for him to be #1...

He does have talent, but no way I would take him over fournette as a top 5 pick or even other guys such as dalvin, cmc, and the 2 wrs...How does a guy who takes over games such as cmc, dalvin, and fournette go behind a guy who's talent couldn't even lead him to carry the load on his own college team...

He would need to prove more on that aspect before I could even fathom a push to #1 in this talented group and thats not even factoring in his off the field issues..the risk far outweighs the investment at that price, but call me crazy

Also, just in terms of the length of their leash for not immediately being perfect, Fournette being the 4th pick and Mixon being the 48th should give Fournette the edge, if other factors can't clearly separate the two.

This. I get the Mixon love to an extent, but even if his ceiling is marginally higher than Fournette's, Fournette will have multiple opportunities to fail before he is pushed aside. It is not worth the risk for a bit more upside.
