Which side do you prefer? Love Gordon but feel like it is lopsided to the other side. Thoughts?

Close, but I prefer the Gordon side because I think he's the best piece.

Coleman and Davis side and I don't really think it's all that close. Gordon will regress and at best I see him worth Davis but actually a little else. So Coleman basically for free.

I give a huge bump to WR values over RB, but I still take the Gordon side by a ton.

Completely new to dynasty here, but I'm a Gordon owner. I think I prefer the Gordon side here. I like Davis but he's as yet unproven and Coleman is splitting carries. Chargers upgraded their line and Gordon has no one to challenge him for carries.
12 owner, ppr league. 24 man rosters. Start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1 WR/TE/RB.

QB: Goff, Watson
RB: Jacobs, Chubb, Guice, Royce Freeman, Duke Johnson, Tarik Cohen, Ballage, Hines, Edmonds
WR: DeAndre Hopkins, Davante Adams, Tyler Lockett, DJ Moore, Mike Williams, Justin Jefferson (Taxi), Mims (Taxi), Marquise Brown, Marquise Lee, Funchess, Hurd, Preston Williams
TE: Cook, Kittle, Gerald Everett

2020: 2.09, 4.09
2021: All picks.

So the votes are almost even but all the comments are the Gordon side. Would someone on the Davis side care to comment on their rationale for picking that side?

Davis and Coleman side for me.

WRs drafted in the top 10 of the NFL draft have very insulated value, meaning his value is going to hold steady for a few seasons, even if he doesn't produce right away. Even the DLF rankings have him as a top 20 startup player. Take that for what's it's worth, but I would feel more secure having Davis long term than having Gordon.

Gordon was amazing in college. Really amazing. (But so was Tim Tebow ☹️). So far his game hasn't translated that well to the NFL. Last year he had lots of Volume and performed okay, but his efficiency was garbage. I just can't see him increasing much in value from where he is. So if he's at his peak, I'm selling.

Davis > Gordon

Coleman > 2nd

Melvin went from one of the most underrated dynasty assets in 2015 to one of the most overrated ones now imo. He had a productive season because of volume but he averaged under 4 yards per carry. If he doesn't improve his efficiency I don't expect the Chargers to keep giving him the same volume of touches.

The Chargers don't seem to be concerned with Gordon's efficiency at all. In a deep Rookie/FA class they make no attempt to give Gordon competition at the position.

Gordon couldn't even manage 4 ypc last year. He should have another good year, but he has seemed like all opportunity and not all that good of a football player. I expect him to fall hard sooner rather than later. Davis has massive upside. Sell high on Gordon while you can.

The Browns didn't bring in anyone of note after Richardson's rookie season where he posted a similar statline and we all know how that turned out. I'm not equating the two, I think Gordon will be a better player than Richardson, but people (generally speaking) are seriously overvaluing him after one half decent year after seriously undervaluing him after a rough rookie season.

I would prefer Davis side. I wasn't hugely impressed with Gordon last year. Terrible YPC very touchDown dependent. I like Davis where he landed. I'd take him right around the same spot as Gordon in a startup. and getting Coleman for a 2nd is a deal. Coleman is what sways me

We just saw Gordon's best fantasy season imo. He is so underwhelming for me as a top RB that I think he will always be a talent, but will consistently fit in that Jonathan Stewart mold career wise. Coleman and Davis's arrows are pointing straight up.
