Jamison Crowder Value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Jamison Crowder Value

Postby Bucky15 » Wed Jun 28, 2017 3:39 am

I've really got an affinity for Jamison Crowder this year. I think he's got the potential and situation to catch upwards of 90 balls this year. I need a 4th WR, as I believe the Maclin signing really hurt Perriman's upside for this year at least. I'm looking at trying to acquire him in my league. He was drafted as the owner's 5th WR, so he's deep at the position. Looking at my roster in sig, what player(s) would you offer for him?

I don't own my 2nd round pick for 2018, but do have an additional 1st. (not that I would give either of those up for him, just stating my assets)

Let me know what advice you have for me, or at least help me place a ballpark value on him in the open market. Thanks!

In a PPR league I'd need a future 1st for him

For me his value is a 2018 1st and if you have faith in trade calculators, he isn't far behind Bryant's value. I believe the other owner would have drafted Crowder as an asset and wouldn't want to give him away cheaply.

You're probably gonna have to give up a 1st for him. Sorta confused by this as you state you think he will catch 90 balls, great numbers btw, but don't want to give up a first when's he's easily worth that

It's not that I wouldn't, but to me his ADP doesn't warrant a first. I believe I'm much higher on him than his ADP or what the overall outlook on him is in the dynasty community. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part. Thanks for the input guys!

I recently bought Crowder++ in a trade for AJ Green, and plan on buying in the other. He isn't going to be cheap despite his ADP, and I imagine most knowledgeable Owners have about the same stat line for him as you mentioned - since he's only getting better and his coach loves him.

I don't know what I would take for him, but I would need at least a 1st+ to even consider moving a great value.

His ADP right now m is 44. Where do you think a 1st is warranted?

To be honest, I'm not quite sure. This is my first year playing dynasty so I really don't have a great gauge on future rookie picks and what value they hold. That's why I ask here.

I traded my 2018 2nd round pick to move up to draft Martavis Bryant. Judging by the responses here, I got a steal.

I think Crowder is well worth a 2018 1st. I'd gladly pay that right now, because even if he doesn't catch 90 balls but puts together a 75/900/5 season, you won't be able to get him for just a 1st come next year.

I'd honestly probably pay a 2018 1st+ 2018 3rd for him right now, even.

Alright thank you guys. I suppose I can give up one of my 1sts. Now the question is, which first do I give up? Mine, or the one I acquired.

Who's team do you think will finish better? Mine in sig, or this team:

Winston, Flacco, Tannehill
Bell, Gordon, L Murray, Perine, Yeldon, Drake
Pryor, Parker, Moncrief, Marshall, Meredith, Ross, Zay Jones, Galloday, Switzer
Julius, Fiedorowicz

You don't really have any RBs that would be a fair trade. So like others have said, it would probably take a 1st.

Would take a 2018 1st + for me to sell my shares. Crowder is a better than any player available in the 1st next yr from 1.06 and later.

The guy is going to be a ppr stud this yr, his value will only go up once the season starts and he's consistently a startable WR2.
