Gurley + Henry or Le'Veon Bell?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Postby Bulletproof » Mon Jun 26, 2017 2:42 pm

We're looking to win now and are considering trading Gurley and Derrick Henry to aquire Le'Veon Bell. Was curious what others thought.

I like Henry a lot but I don't think the pairing of Henry&Gurley is going to land Bell.

Bell easily. If proposed to you, jump on it. If considering offering, you'll likely have to add.

Tend to agree. But if you're dealing with a middling team or a team in a rebuild maybe this package and a 2nd rounder? I think it's a fine starting point, but would be prepared to give up just a little bit more. Not a bad offer at all though.

If it gets it done, I'd do it for Bell.

So this would be like giving up two early 1sts (top 3 picks) that have shown promise of living up to the hype (which is kind of like giving up 3 random early firsts imo since they don't all hit)...I think I agree with most that perhaps you have to tack on a bit more but I think it's a great starting point and wouldn't be surprised if it were accepted...espcially if other team is in a rebuild.

If Bell was my only piece, I would try to get more but would settle for that.
If I am a middle of the pack team or a strong team, I would not trade Bell for that. I think Gurley and Henry both are a good deal more likely to hit than not, but very very few players hit like Bell has.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Bell pretty easy. The guy puts up QB numbers in the RB spot - he's a league winner. Gurley + Henry just isn't enough.

Depends on team makeup but I imagine that's not getting it done. If Gurley returns to rookie form or Murray gets hurt/phased out, it's a different story.

Keeping Henry and Gurley. Bell gets injured and Gurley and Henry are buy lows now.
