M Wallace or A Stewart for D Watson

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

M Wallace or A Stewart for D Watson

Postby pjoner » Mon Jun 26, 2017 11:12 am

14 team dynasty PPR

Total Starters: 9
Number of Starting QBs: 1
Number of Starting RBs: 2-3
Number of Starting WRs: 3-5
Number of Starting TEs: 1-2

I have a QB needy owner making a pitch for my Deshaun Watson, I could use a little more WR depth, I am deep at RB but have been unable to find a trading partner thus far...

He has been offering M Wallace but I am not a huge fan due to age. He is carrying A Stewart (NYJ) and I was considering making a 1 for 1 Watson for Stewart offer.

Any thoughts? Should I be targeting Wallace instead of Stewart or should I be standing pat? Here is my roster...

Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB 348.00 9
Stafford, Matthew DET QB 370.70 7
Watson, Deshaun HOU QB - 7

Crowell, Isaiah CLE RB 205.10 9
Dixon, Kenneth BAL RB (S) 102.40 10
Gillislee, Mike NEP RB 125.70 9
Hood, Elijah OAK RB - 10
Hyde, Carlos SFO RB (Q) 192.10 11
Lewis, Dion NEP RB (Q) 54.70 9
Montgomery, Ty GBP RB (Q) 140.50 8
Rodgers, Jacquizz TBB RB 90.80 11
Smallwood, Wendell PHI RB 52.70 10
Thompson, Chris WAS RB 147.50 5
Williams, Jamaal GBP RB - 8
Woodhead, Danny BAL RB 27.10 10

Coates, Sammie PIT WR (Q) 77.90 9
Edelman, Julian NEP WR 230.30 9
Golladay, Kenny DET WR - 7
Green, A.J. CIN WR 186.40 6
Samuel, Curtis CAR WR - 11
Snead, Willie NOS WR 194.00 5
Watkins, Sammy BUF WR (Q) 83.00 6
White, Kevin CHI WR 38.60 9

Ebron, Eric DET TE 144.20 7
Rudolph, Kyle MIN TE 209.00 9

Thanks in advance!

I think you can do better than Stewart. Where were Stewart and Watson drafted in your rookie draft?

the other owner pushed Stewart up the board, he went 2.4 (18), I took Watson at 2.14 (28)

If both Stewart and Watson were available at the 2.14, I probably would of taken Stewart...

Agreed. If you have Stewart over Watson, then might as well swap them straight up.

I think you need to keep your team young. Unless you think you can flip Wallace for a 2nd or some other better piece, I'd pass.

Wallace is rock solid. Never misses games and you can plug him any week and expect a reasonably high floor with 3-4ish catches every week with the potential of some great weeks if he catches a long TD. I take Wallace and enjoy his consistency as my wr 4-5 all day.
