for team 1 in my sig i need RB help (fairly good everywhere else i think). Recently acquired Carlos Hyde for Decker, '18 3 and '19 2. Just received an offer for Hyde but i don't think it is very good. Curious what the forum thinks. It'd be my Hyde (no pun intendend) for Mark Ingram, Travaris Cadet, Zach Miller and Geronimo Allison.

The offering team also mentioned Ryan Switzer, Dede Westbrook, Tarik Cohen and Elijah McGuire as potential replacement pieces. Here's his full roster:

If this offer for Hyde is short what is one or two players that i could target that might make sense (keeping in mind that we have to start 2 RBs). I do have some draft capital so theoretically i could go out and bolster my RBs so what would the trade need to be for me to move my top RB? Thanks!

Looks like the other owner is just trying to unload his waiver wire players on you (outside of Ingram). Not sure he's very serious about trading actual valuable pieces to get a deal done.

I like Allison but he's just throwing crap against the wall and hoping it will stick. Ingram is a better back than Hyde but the situation is a mess in New Orleans.

I think you bought Hyde for fairly cheap originally...it would appear to me that this new owner is just trying to see where you actually value him by making a fairly low ball offer. Having said that, it is really tough to project Hyde and Ingram this year but it would appear that Hyde probably has a better shot at consistent fantasy relevance this year.

He's not going to trade you Zeke...so, it would really depend on how you value LF to make anything work here. I would assume with rookie fever, you also wont be prying LF away from him here. But you could add some draft picks to Hyde for LF...or, simply target another RB like Crowell, Ameer, etc that are a bit cheaper and see if you can get them for picks to pair with Hyde. Either way, pass on the offer that was made to you.

No, his offer isn't trash because Ingram is one of the pieces. However, the rest of players are less than useful and I have Hyde ahead of Ingram because I have no idea what N.O. does with those running backs.
I also don't think he is serious about paying more with all those clunkers he threw at you, but it's always worth a short if you are slightly interested in dealing.

This is just Hyde versus Ingram. The other pieces are waiver wire fodder who may not even be as valuable as your empty bench space.

So really it all comes down to how you feel about the RB situation in NO, particularly whether you think AP is out of gas or not.

A fair trade would be Ingram+Perriman for Hyde, but honesty you're better off keeping Hyde on your squad.

this exactly, and i would use that knowledge to know that you might be able to drop all his adds from the deal and you add something to make the jump to LF possibly. I dont know why he is even shopping with his rb core looking that strong, but obviously he likes hyde?! go with it and make a counter before he changes his mind
