Zeke trade

Postby RTE » Thu Jun 22, 2017 5:17 pm

Posted this a few weeks ago and I was offered it again.
I give Zeke
I get Freeman and Michael Thomas
I really feel like it's great value but in the league we going on year 4 and the trade rapes have killed the league. 6 teams are loaded and 6 are not. With that said you need stars to compete. Am I undervaluing Freeman and Thomas or overvaluing Zeke? Made it to the bowl last year and Zeke was my week in week out number 1.
12 team 1 qb 2 rb 2 wr 1 te 1 flex
Qb Wilson, Bortles
Rb Howard, Kerryon Johnson, Duke Johnson, ty Montgomery
Wr Odell, Cooper, Evans, Alshon, Curtis Samuel
TE Jonnu Smith, George kittle, Vance McDonald, Eifert

That's a solid offer for Zeke. I think I said before that I'd take it, and I'll still take it today.

I would not take that trade. You already have 6 guys that are starter worthy for 5 positions imo. You don't really need depth so I wouldn't trade for it. I would however try and package Bortles with Miller in order to try and get a better RB in the deal

Thomas is a sell high imo...likely just put up the best numbers of his career. I would pass. It's my bet that Thomas will never be close to his worth this offseason.

I think value wise, it's on the Thomas/Freeman side, but I have my doubts about both those players and given you already have a very solid team with plenty of depth, I would rather hold Zeke. I'm pretty high on Zeke though and lower than most on Thomas and Freeman.

Who are these 6? I'd consider Zeke, Howard, Miller, and Cooper starters. Cooks, Watkins, and Maclin are not yet trustworthy every week.

I like this trade for the OP's team. You'll retain a top 5 RB, and get a solid WR that slides into your WR2 spot.

It's a solid offer but I wouldn't take it. Zeke is going to be a beast for many years to come. If the offer isn't a no brainer, it's probably not worth it.

This is the third time you've posted this exact trade question in the last month. You either really like the trade and are looking to come here to find someone to talk you out of it. Or you don't like the trade and are coming here find someone to talk you into it. It is a fair deal to both sides. We cannot push the accept or the reject button for you. Ultimately this is a decision that you have to make for you and for your team.

This is just a guess but being that we've now gone this long with the same deal on the table and you have not been able to hit the accept button then you have probably already made your decision.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
