Luck for Landry - 0.5 ppr / 1 QB League

In my 10-teamer 1 QB league I wish I could get Luck for something like Landry. I have gone after Wilson, Mariotia, and Winston (the teams also have Dak, Brees, and Cam, respectively) and trying to use Snead or JMatt or Cam Meredith along with Eli so they have a good back-up, and an extra piece (solid LB2). None would even consider it. the Carr owner (also has Stafford) says that my 1.4 pick this year would be required to be part of the deal to get Carr. Guess I will just stick with Eli this year.

Edit: the Luck owner in my league also has Brady, so I might try to trade one of the WR for Brady, but he said that trading away Luck would take "a lot".

That's because Landry is far more valuable than the WRs you are offering. You are offering a sum of parts by tacking on Eli and a LB2...none are great on their own. It's like offering bench players for a starter.

I wouldnt trade Luck for anyone under Landry though I dont think.

Maybe you are right, but I would counter that this is a 10 team so QBs should be even lower value and the QBs I have inquired about are also lower than Luck, who is considered QB1 or QB2 with only Rodgers being above Luck in some rankings. These QBs are in the QB3-QB8 range. It is with teams which have other solid options so it is fringe starter/solid depth for fringe started/solid depth.

But QB are highly coveted in my league, I really don't know why. Dak went 1.3 (!) last year, Winston was the 11th pick the year before, etc. I am curious when QB's will be drafted this year but I can't see drafting any in the first 2 rounds and I don't have a 3rd so most likely I won't draft any.

I wouldnt be drafting one this year at all unless its with my 4th or 5th (if your league does 5ths) and thats only if the talents I liked are gone and I had a QB duo of something like Rivers + Mariota in a 1QB league because the pick would be a luxury pick for hopes of flipping it for a 2nd in the future is all
