1.08 On The Clock

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

1.08 On The Clock

Postby scottas6870 » Tue Jun 20, 2017 7:04 am

I have a Superflex Orphan I took over a couple months back and have made several moves to get picks and a 2nd QB. I am currently OTC and know I need a RB. Perine, Hunt and Kamara are all available. I have a bunch of Perine already this season. What are your thoughts on loading up on one player you like vs. diversifying and maybe taking Hunt for future or Kamara for the PPR aspect?

I'd take Kamara pretty easily.

I'd take Hunt over those other options. Similarly clear path to relevance as Perine but with better draft capital.

Hunt or Kamara, who else is available, I'd still go bpa at this point of a draft

I traded back from 1.05 because I didn't like Cook. I have the 1.12 but the draft has gone Fournette, CMC, Davis, Mixon, Cook, Williams, Howard. No QBs have gone yet. I expect them to go late 1st to early 2nd due to the lack of talent.

1.08 is a tough spot as not many want to trade into it knowing they can get a similar level of player later in the draft.

If you can't trade back I think I'd take Kamara

Take Trubisky. But if you decide to go RB, take whoever you're higher on. I wouldn't care how many shares of a player I owned...that shouldn't stop you from drafting a player. I personally wouldn't take Perine though and would prefer Hunt or Kamara.

Traded back to 1.10 and swapped my 4.3 for his 3.2 and got a 2018 3rd from him. Thanks for all the advice.

Agreed. My draft board has a group of WRs (Ross, JuJu, Zay, Kupp) followed by Kamara and Foreman.

Looking at your team, you may want to consider WR at this point. Not sure how many you start, but I wouldn't get too comfortable with Baldwin, Benjamin, and Boyd as your top 3.
