Thomas is probably a bit overvalued at present. But I've never been a fan of Benjamin, and while I think Brown has a bit of a bounce-back season if his sickle cell is under control that mid/late first isn't enough to make me pull the trigger.
Agree with those who said you were right to counter with two 1st's. He's not willing to up the ante, so it's no loss to move on with Thomas.
