Pump the brakes!!!

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one staying thoroughly off the McKinnon hype train. The dude is not and will never be a 3-down back IMO. There is no way I'd pay what I'm seeing him go for right now. Insane. I'd be selling him all day long.

Melvin Gordon- Enough already. The guy is averaging under 3.9 ypc. I think that if he doesn't start showing up, this could be the final straw and it'll point toward true competition.in next years draft.
San Diego just extended MG. The YPC argument is overblown. I'm buying where I can from those who are discounting him.

this was me last year but ive changed my tune on him. think hes a legit stud.
Id have to go with Goff. Yes his offense looked great last year but like the Podfather, I believe he is a fake gunslinger.

Great thread by the way
Good point... I wanna see one more year out of Goff before I take him so seriously. I’m worried what Mahomes/Watkins do to Tyreek this year though.

I have to admit I was convinced Tyreek was a trap after his rookie season but man oh man he shut me up really quick. Definitely a little worried about Mahomes and watkins taking touches from him but but speaking purely on talent he is an absolute STUD. Best deap threat in the league. That's right you heard me Cooks supporters!!

Can’t wait to be wrong on most of these.

QBs

Wentz: still high value, he’s the last of the top tier to me. But that injury happened late enough that I personally would rather have Rodgers/Wilson/Watson and Wentz is going off at QB2, pick 47

Jimmy G: liked him a lot but he’s climbed and climbed and I personally don’t think he separates himself from guys like Goff or Mahomes or cousins enough to merit going a round or three ahead of em.

RBs

Drake: see posts before me. I kinda see a Miami offense dumpster fire this year

Mccoy: value is just high for me for his age and mileage. (Adp 50ish)

Kerryon: I was lower on him than most predraft, and I don’t trust the lions to have a useful fantasy RB since Barry

WRs

Watkins and Gordon: I list em together because they have similar ADP and similar boomy/bustiness. Guys I would have liked to take a shot on but are just too highly valued right now. Less so Watkins. Gordon I think is just as likely to be out of the league as he is to blow up again, not to mention all the mouths to feed on an unproven offense.

TEs

Burton: he’s not high value and he’s a nice shot to emerge but I have a feeling he’s just too many owners sweetheart right now. To me there’s 10 other TEs to grab, if not them I wouldn’t spend any real capital on one and try a few fliers instead
main league, half PPR, all TDs 6, -3 for INT
12 team. 2019 champ, 2020 runner up, ‘21 3rd

QB: T Lawrence, K Cousins, R Wilson, Z Wilson
RB: K Walker, T Ettiene, JK Dobbins, D Gore, J Hasty, D Johnson, L Rountree
WR: JJ, AJB, A Cooper, Juju, C Kirk, J Dotson, N Westbrook-Ikhine, I McKenzie
TE. T Kelce, Pitts, Albert O, D Parham, J O’Shaunessy

Yes they are but that doesn't change the fact that the percentage of their yardage coming form big plays is wayyyyy higher than most receivers....They don't have to run straight down the line EVERY play to be considered a deep threat.
