Should I cash out on Watkins

Postby Dynasty19 » Fri Jun 16, 2017 11:17 am

Someone has expressed interest in Sammy Watkins and I am currently stacked at WR but don't want to sell him too cheap. What do you feel about the offer below?

Give: Sammy Watkins and 2018 3rd
Receive: Ty Montgomery, 1.10, and 2018 random first (probably middle)
10 Team - Full PPR
QB - Wentz, Mayfield, Carr
RB - Chubb, Bell, Conner, Lindsay, McKinnon
WR - Adams, OBJ, AJ Brown, McLaurin, Cooks, Crowder, Watkins
TE - Engram, Goedert, Howard, Knox

i'd trade him for 2 #1's considering what you already have at WR. I suppose you could wait until the season starts to see if he puts up some good numbers but even then are you going to get much more than 2 firsts for him? I'd take the trade and let someone else worry about his injuries...
Team 1 - 12 Team Half PPR
Start 1 QB, 2-4 RB, 3-5 WR, 1-3 TE, 1 D/ST
Total Starters = 10
Russel Wilson, Eli Manning
Bell, Howard, Hyde, J Williams, Smallwood, A Jones, J Allen, D Washington

That's a gamble. Just the 2 1st alone seems good for a often hurt wr but if this guys heals and blows up to what some think he can be you will definitely regret that move.
12 team 1 qb 2 rb 2 wr 1 te 1 flex
Qb Wilson, Bortles

That is any easy pass. I honestly would even rather have Jamaal Williams instead of Montgomery if we're talking GB RBs.

While I'm not a Sammy guy, he always goes bonkers for a couple games in season. I'd wait for one or two of those and deal him.

This trade is too light,
Fig Newtons - 12 team superflex .5 ppr, qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, te, Flex, SF
QB - Dak, Brissett, Purdy
RB - Najee, Swift, J.Robinson, D.Henderson, McKinnon,
WR - M.Thomas, D.Hop, DJ Moore, Miller, G.Davis, MVS
TE - Kittle, Gesicki, Hockenson
Picks: 2023 - 1, 2, 2, 3, 4

Young Newts - 14 team .25 ppr Superflex, qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, te, wr/rb, OP
QB - Allen, Wilson, Cousins
RB - Chubb, L.Bell, Ingram, K.Johnson, Mack, T.Coleman
WR - M.Thomas, OBJ, Woods, Moore, Godwin, R.Anderson
TE - Gesicki, Witten, Irv
Picks: 2022 - 3, 4, 5

DirkaDirka - 12 team PPR Superflex

RB: Mixon, Swift, Sanders, Ekeler, DJ, Kerryon
WR: Tyreek, A.Cooper, D.Adams, A-Rob, C.Davis, P.Williams, V.Jefferson, Duverney
TE: Kelce, Rudolph, Hollister

Not a Warkins fan, but you can get more than that.
16 Team PPR 1 QB - 2 RB - 2 WR - 1 TE - 1 Flex
QB- R.Wilson, B. Mayfield
RB- D. Cook, Zeke, J. Jacobs, J. McKinnon, A. Collins, I. Smith, B. Hill, R. Armstead, M. Boone
WR- J. Smith-Schuster, T. Boyd, C. Sutton, M. Brown, H. Ruggs, S. Miller
TE- G. Kittle, Enron, C. Herndon

Not a Watkins guy but I think the offer is light. A couple mid to late 1's and a converted WR to RB. Maybe if the offer had a better RB I could warm up to it but easy choice of Watkins for that trade. Have you countered?

I'd rather keep Watkins then take that Package. Not a huge believer in Montgomery and 2 late firsts aren't enough for me to move him.
