Did this just happen? (Friends don't let friends make trades)

I don't really need advice, just wanted to post this trade and hear your thoughts.

I just put Phillip Rivers on the trade block and got an offer of Corey Coleman and a 2018 first (which should be a top 4 pick). Instant accept for me. I basically started Rivers once last week on Ryan's bye week and can find a suitable backup no problem.

This trade completely baffles me, as the team that made the trade now has Phillip Rivers, Eli Manning, and Russell Wilson as QBs. His receivers now consist of Demaryius Thomas, Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin, and Tyrell Williams. Not sure what this dude was thinking since we only start 1 QB. I should feel bad but I really don't.

Turns out the dude thought he was getting a 2nd rounder in return. He just emailed the commish. I knew it was too good to be true.

He probably meant to put the first on your side and wanted the Williams stack lol. Unless his RBs are terrible that doesn't look like a top 4 pick team

He thought he was getting a 2nd but intended to give up the first and Coleman? Or just Coleman? Either way take the deal and run.

I hate guys like this. Happens to me multiple times per year. Plenty of checks in the system to avoid this Crap. Very, very annoying.

Agree, take Rivers and ?2018 2nd for Coleman and 2018 1st- particularly if you think it's going to be early

This would still be a steal for you.

Having said, I would guess someone texted him after this trade calling him crazy (understandably)....I dont see how you could accidentally accept the wrong trade. Even if he is allowed to go back on it, you should still take that deal.

I tossed him the 2nd and still feel great about it. This isn't the first time this has happened with this team in our league. He constantly blames the app on his cell phone. I agree and think that somebody sent him a text calling him crazy.

It's magnanimous of you to give him the 2nd, and it's still a fantastic deal for you, but I would press for your commish to add some language to your constitution about the whole "the app on my phone screwed up" nonsense, especially if it's happened with this guy more than once. If you guys are using MFL, there's really no need to use a 3rd party app anyway. The site runs perfectly well on most smartphone browsers.

Yeah we use MFL. Just about as straight forward as it gets, not sure why people have issues with technology!
