Perriman vs 1.7

Postby Peteey84 » Sun May 28, 2017 6:24 am

Is Perriman and a late 18 1st too much for me to give up for the 1.7 and Decker? I'm leaning towards keeping Perriman.

Keep Perriman for sure. Adding a 1st to him for the 1.7 is way overpaying.

Who are you targeting at 1.07? Howard?

Perriman is still largely unproven and has quite the injury history. Meanwhile, Decker is annually underrated and 1.07 is a very good pick in a loaded draft class. Who knows how the 2018 pick will turn out, plus that gives you plenty of time to recoup a round 1 pick for next year.

I think it's a tough call but I'd counter with Perriman + 2017/2018 rd 2

I'd keep perriman even if it was a 'late' first. Not seeing that though, especially in a 10 team league, unless the pick is from a different team than the one in the signature.

It's not my pick. I have two 1sts next year and neither are mine. Both picks should mid/late picks.

I'd go Decker & 1.07. Yes, the Jets QB situation is a mess, but he has produced with bad QBs several times over his career. & it's more likely that he gets moved than Flacco, a WR killer, gets benched. Even if, Perriman is as good as everyone thinks, which is unlikely, injuries & Flacco's inaccuracy will prevent him from putting up elite #s. His high game of 4 catches & 62 yards, do not elevate him to Decker's status, nor am I going to get over excited about what a knucklehead like Wallace is saying in the spring.

& 1.07>>> 2018 #1 (especially if you protect the higher pick)
Team 1

QB- Carr, Mac
RB- Kamara, Patterson, Swift, Ingram, Foreman, Breida
WR- M Thomas, Metcalf, Keenan, Bourne, AB, Waddle, Green, D-Jax, Landry, St. Brown
TE- Waller, Hockenson
K- Tucker
D- Miami
Start: QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, TE, WR/RB, WR/TE, K, D
