Robert Woods Value/Hype

I'm in a full PPR league and there as been some hype around Robert Woods looking like he can be a PPR WR3 this year with the rams. What does everyone value Woods as? I've been offered 3.04 for him so far.

I would probably pass on that. He's definitely not flashy but has been a pretty solid player and the Rams have to throw it to someone.

Everything I have read about the Rams right now is saying how Cooper Kupp is the real deal. And will quickly surpass Woods as the WR1

Kupp and G.Everett in a McVay offence all day for me........ woods is the definition of average. id pass on that pick, but i would be trying to sell on the hype if you can.

try to get another 3rd. i think i would sell for that, but it doesn't hurt to wait until that pick is coming up so you know what players you are looking at...i got shaheen @ 3.12 and i would take him over woods

Sell for 3.4 (pick 24, 10 team). Doubt you can do better. That seems like a great return to me. He's available in my draft and i haven't even considered him in the first 36 picks and probably wouldn't until the 40s.

Woods has the look of a Dolphins vintage Brian Hartline. Could definitely see him putting up wr3 numbers. I would assume that he will play the possession role that Garcon occupied in D.C. with McVay. Cupp could definitely play a role as well along with the TE. Let's not dismiss the fact that this system produced three fantasy relevant wrs last year along with two relevant TEs. Woods is worth at least a 3rd as the most accomplished wr that young Goff has to target. I certainly don't see a world beater here but definitely envision a quality depth wr for ppr leagues.

I think his value is closer to a fourth round pick. So I would take that pick unless you really believe in his talent

I think he is worth a bit more than the 3.04. You are essentially trading him for Josh Reynolds (who I actually like a lot). I guess it depends if you plan on ever starting Woods. Woods is the safer play over the 3.04. Reynolds will likely have greater upside. The hit rate for a 3rd round pick is less than 10%. I'd keep the player you can use during a bye week over one that you are hoping may hit.
