Pick RB or trade 2.02?

I passed on RB in round 1 due to my long history of RB busts there ( ) so I'm leaning RB at the top of round 2.

My team sort of sucks horribly at RB but is pretty good at the other spots. Would you advise trading down and just grab-bag two or three RBs in the next couple of rounds? Or just pick one of the second-tier RBs at 2.02?

I'm torn between starting over, trading off my veterans for anything I can get and focus on 2018... OR make a final run at it with these vets and strength at my non-RB positions. Do I have enough for the latter or am I dreaming?

Hunt and Kamara were taken mid/late 1st, so the rest of the tier 2ish guys are there.

I guess I just think my RBs might hold me back quite a bit, so I kinda feel like I could use a trade-down to grab two or three tier 2 and tier 3 guys instead instead of staying and grabbing someone at 2.02.

Gotta disagree with you on not needing to rebuild. That's not a very strong team at all in a 10 team league. Plus a large part of his relevant roster is trending down. I don't think he can really "rebuild" right this minute because most vets aren't netting a good return right now, but it's a roster that I'd be looking to overhaul once the season starts.

As for you question OP, it depends on who's available at 2.02 (pick 12 in your league I beleive). Draft BPA with the pick, don't worry about need. As for trading the pick, it depends what you can get. If someone's willing to give you an '18 1st for the pick, I'd do that in a heartbeat in your situation.

okay, so i still don't know what you consider 2nd tier...foreman, williams x2, mack?
i get confused, because to me the second tier is perine, hunt, kamara then it hits tier 3
but i would take the BPA..don't be afraid to trade the 2.02 for an 18 1st and a couple 3rd round picks...still lots of talent there in a 10 team league

So in other words... I'm doomed!

There's a bunch of meh guys at RB, WR and TE there at 2.02, and with my RB corps in shambles and lots of old guys on my roster that need replacing soon, I think I'm better off if I trade down (if I can find a willing partner) and start to firesale the productive vets I have.

Too much has to go perfectly, especially at RB, for me to have any chance to win it all this year.

Better rebuild sooner than later right?

I would have gotten back on that horse and grabbed a RB with that first pick. Any of the top 3 TE's still on the board? Who are your top RB options still on the board? I have to agree with the other guys that this is not a contending team. What makes things tough is all the value you have at QB but it's only a 1 QB league and 10 teams so that really hurts you. RB is a total mess and most of your WR core is trending in the wrong direction.

i have a similar dilemma ..the easy answer is take BPA, but that is not alway easy to do

Went Corey Davis at 1.02 - just couldn't handle another potential RB bust in the 1st round (I'm way too good at those!).

It's 2.02 that's making me pull my hair out - figured I'd just grab a back there and pray to be competitive this year, but trading down if at all possible for more picks to get the rebuild started might be best.

As for what might be at 2.02, no idea who 2.01 is going to take yet (round 2 starts early June), but here's how the 1st round went:
