CJ Anderson vs Ajayi Trade Advice

Postby ThatGuyBrian » Sat May 27, 2017 8:25 am

The Dynasty league is standard PPR and the line up requirements are 1 qb 2 RB 2 wr 1 TE 1 flex (RB, WR, TE) 1 K 1 DST

I currently have this trade and I am really not sure about it:
I send: CJ Anderson, Marshawn Lynch, and pick 1.06
For: Jay Ajayi, Keyan Drake, Giovanni Bernard and pick 3.09. I really don't want to trade pick 1.06 because I am targeting OJ Howard at that spot.

*rosters are currently expanded and I am trying to trade players like Parmer, Witten and others

Current picks I have: 1.06, 4.01, 4.06, 4.08, and 5.06

Qb
Big Ben
Jared Goff
Jimmy Garropolo
Carson Parmer
Andy dalton
Blake Bortles

RB
Todd Gurley
Marshawn Lynch
CJ Anderson
Devontae Booker
Thomas Rawls

Wr
TY Hilton
Michael Thomas
Corey Coleman
Jarvis Landry
Laquon Treadwell
Devin Funchess
Tyreek Hill
Kevin White
Tyler Boyd
Tajae Sharpe
Robby Anderson
Tyrell Williams

TE
Jimmy Graham
Austin Sefarien Jenkins
Jason Witten

K/DST
Justin Tucker
Carolina
Washington

That's a major upgrade at RB but I don't trust Ajayi's knees. This is how it works.......play great in limited time, get more time, more snaps, more carries, knees get banged up and fall apart quickly.

That's not bad value. I'd try to get them to swap the 3.09 with a 2nd.

Don't believe in all involved players except Ajayi as a low end RB1. So for me, essentially Ajayi > 1.06. For your team, its an RB upgrade. Gurley/Ajayi is not a bad combination.

like ajayi...but the rest of that side are meh

i would also see what you can get for tyreek, or...if you could trade tyreek and your 1.06 to get 1.05, that would be a great move as well
you would get to start
QB
gurley and cook/mixon
Thomas and hilton
flex is coco or lynch/cj anderson

with the 4.01: perhaps shaheen is still there (i took him with 3.12), but i am sure that butt or hodges will be available with one of your 4th round picks
good luck
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris

The owner with the fifth pick will only trade that pick if running backs go 1-4, which I am starting to get the sense might happen. That same owner has the second pick and will be picking Mixon. As of today that is pretty much the scenario.

Which one of his 3 different 200+ rushing yard games was the meh one? I'd take Ajayi here personally.

you know, the more i think about this trade the more i think i would take ajayi side...i think he has at least a couple more seasons...gio might maintain more of a role than we expected and you might be able to get shaheen (maybe even everett) in the 3rd...
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
