This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

DHenry or Dalvin

Postby BuckeyeNation » Fri May 26, 2017 1:58 pm

Your run-of-the-mill PPR league. I own Henry, an owner offered me Dalvin for him. My initial instinct is to hold Henry, but I'm curious as to where others are with these duo. One side or the other, I do think both are pretty close.

Dalvin easily. Similar draft pedigree, but Cook has the clear path to starting and IMO, far superior talent.

I'll take Cook. Henry may have to wait longer to see a featured role

Good post. I like henry more but I think this is certainly worthy a debate.

Dalvin posters are correct, he is likely to have the quicker immediate impact. I like henry more long term though. 2018 and on give me henry

I like Henry more as well. Cook may indeed have an easier path to the starting gig but he also is on a team that's far less ready to get him success.

Yeah, this for me too. Murray has a lot of wear on him so it wouldn't surprise me if we see Henry get quite a bump in carries as early as this season.

This one is tough! I saw another thread where most consider him around the 1.05, so the back and forth here makes sense. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer for this one. Go with whomever you value higher.

Ill take Henry. I made this same post last week. You may have to wait to get the full potential of Henry, but he is playing on a team with a great o-line, unlike Cook. I expect there to be a more even split this year with touches between Henry and Murray. Plus Murray has had injury problems in the past, so a full workload is always possible this year.
Team 1

QB: ARod, Wilson, Goff, Winston, Taysom Hill
RB: Cook, Mack, Barber, L. Murray, Ito Smith, Bibbs
WR: ARob, Kupp, Miller(Chi), Agholar, Doctson, Grant, Gordon Z. Jones, Quinn(Wsh), Wilson(Mia)
TE: Reed, Ebron, Andrews, V. Davis, Gates, Herndon
Team 2
12tm, Super-flex, 1PPR, start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/FLEX/FLEX/OP
QB: Luck, Tanny, Goff
RB: Henry, Drake
WR: Nuk, ARob, Cooper, JuJu, Shepard, Hurns, Lockett, Stewart, Kupp
TE: Doyle, Allen, Clay
Team 3
14tm Super-flex, 1.5PPR and 1.5pts per 10yds for TEs, 1PPR for WRs, .5ppr and .25ppc for RBs. start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/FLEX/FLEX/OP

RB: Henry, Ekeler, Howard, Hines, Kelley, McKinnon, Samuels
WR: Cooks, Ridley, Ross, Callaway, Moncreif, MWilliams, Enunwa, Kupp, Golladay, Kearse, Reynolds

yep. im HIGH on Cook and probably would take Henry here in a vacuum BUT if i needed one guy to compete or make the playoffs that would make it a tougher decision

I go with Henry

Cooks path to starting may be quicker, but Henry's is more fruitful I find.

Henry pretty easy for me.

Titans much better team overall and Henry would've had a great season if given the carries.
