DHenry or Dalvin

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Thanks for the replies guys. Replies are about what I expected. Looks like 8 for Henry, 6 for Dalvin, and 1 coin-flip.

Personally I prefer Henry and obviously so does the owner offering me this deal. I do think it's at least close enough for me that I'd still be interested in doing a trade like this if I could get some kind of upgrade elsewhere.

This is close for sure. I think I'd lean towards Henry though.

Give me Cook here. I like his homerun ability plus it sounds like he's gonna be a decent option on 3rd downs as well.

Dynasty is long term outlook and although Cook is certainly big time, I love Henry. I think he is significantly better but not a bad offer.

I like Cook, but I'm not just handing him the starting job nor expecting much from the Vikings rushing offense right away. I like Henry's talent more and am just fine with his situation expecting him to replace Murray very soon.

Dalvin posters are correct, he is likely to have the quicker immediate impact. I like henry more long term though. 2018 and on give me henry
Agreed. In a redraft for 2017, sure, it appears to be Dalvin (although, both are running with the 2's right now and Zimmer doesn't play rookies just because of draft pedigree). Long term, I don't see how any one days it's easily one or the other. Very close, but I lean Henry.

I like Henry, but I will go cook.

Cook was in the mix for top 10 pick based on film in a loaded rb class. If you take his 'meh' combine away and off field issues from a long time ago, this guy was high on everyone's board.

I really like Henry taking the job eventually when injuries take Murray down.

I would go with a coin flip based on all factors, but my preference is cook.

Not thread related, but I still don't see how Cook dropped so far. I know he had workout issues and some off field stuff but he has elite RB1 potential.

There are plenty of people who also envisioned "elite" potential from Henry. This isn't whether or not Cook dropped in value down to the level of Henry.

Like I said, non thread related.

I thought Henry was a top 15 NFL pick. I love the talent.

Red flag after red flag. Very extensive off-the-field issues. Shoulder injury history. Athletic profile that rarely succeeds at NFL level. Fumble issues. People do not like players with this much risk involved, particularly with an early pick.

super close...if owner is coming to you, and you have no real preference ...i would try to get a little something more...perhaps a 2nd or 3rd round pick...or a player with some upside (hard to give name without knowing the other roster)
good luck

qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc

Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D

DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler

Ask for a bit more since he came to you. I like Cook better anyways.

Henry for me. Cook is not a better talent than him imo. I do think it's close but I want Henry.

It's even for me. Henry not being startable till next year is a real possibility. So depends on your patience really.
