Crowell Price Tag in PPR

He had 9 games in which he averaged less than 3.5 YPC. 2 games of 3.5 YPC, 3 games of less than 3 YPC, 3 games under 2 YPC and 1 game under 1 YPC.

He's a nice player in a good situation but this 1.04-1.06 is way off to me. More like 1.12-1.14.

He's on the Browns.. Stats don't tell the whole story. It's easy as hell to stop the run when you have no passing game. *Insert Gurley reference here*

9/16 being bad is concerning regardless of how you want to spin it. 3,4,5....maybe even 6, not a big deal. But once you eclipse the 6 marker for bad games I don't see how you can give up a top 6 pick.

I have the 4 rbs, kamara, perine, hunt, foreman, davis, williams, and the 3 te's above him foresure... that slots him in at the 10-15 range at best imo.

Last year, I valued him at late 1st. When a contending owner (ended up with 1.10 this year) inquired, he used the "multiple bad games" rationale. Talks went nowhere.

I wouldn't take less than 1.06 for him now. Probably pay the same.

i just traded for him while OTC with pick 2.05
i gave 2.05 and 2.09...i got crowell and 3.12
he took foreman and samuel, i haven't made 3.12 pick yet

i would have taken juju and joe williams,
i ended up trading back in (gave Thielen) to take joe williams @ 2.11

X2....I'm shocked at hearing he's worth th 1.05 or 1.06...he has tons of tread on the tires and doesn't catch passes on a bad offense? He's an easy sell for me at that price

1.05-1.07 range. I traded KB and Charles for Crowell. Which was an overpay but I needed a rb and was stacked at wr.

I like him a little less than the top 3 RBs and more than the 2 WRs so 1.04 for me

I think you're going to be happy with that return on Hyde.

As for the discussion, I don't want to devalue Crowell as I do think he's a pretty solid RB. For those that say he's worth a 1.05-1.06 I'd agree if we were talking non-ppr/TD heavy. The presence and usage of Duke would make it hard for me to value him that highly in a ppr league, so I'd tend to value him more in the 1.10-1.12 range.

Not a knock on him as a player, but situationally I don't believe he's a game changer in a ppr format at this point.

He caught 40 passes for 319 yards last year on 53 targets. Duke caught 53 for 519 on 74 targets. Duke is a better pass catcher, no doubt, but this narrative that Crow is some sort of liability in the passing game is a little disingenuous. In a typical full PPR format, about a third of his points came through the air. That's not the profile of an RB who "doesn't catch passes."
