Cooks vs Keenan

Postby RTE » Thu May 25, 2017 7:05 am

Made a trade for Brandin Cooks just looking for opinions?
I gave Keenan enunwa Clive Walford
I received Cooks and Jesse James
Honestly I was tired of the injuries

I might be the only one, but I prefer Allen.

Looks like a good trade from where I sit. Maybe a slight overpay as many would consider Cooks and Keenan a wash.

I think it's a fair deal. I think cooks sees a regression due to competition for targets in NE. But the same can be said about Allen. I don't fault you for wanting to deal Allen. Injuries just keep piling up

Belichick is all in on Cooks. I've heard a lot of people say that there are too many mouths to feed in New England, but I think Allen has just as much competition for targets. You're talking Henry, Mike and Ty Williams, Benjamin, and Allen.....combine that with the injury history and I'd take Cooks all day. Not to mention having James over Walford is a no brainer. Enunwa is going to be a solid option this year for sure, but give me the upside of Cooks and James.

i dont think he'll ever be better than what he is now. hes never going to be a redzone threat, he will always be one-hit from IR and i think he regressed on the very crowded patritos, also, what happens when brady retires? hes never played with an avg or even just "good" qb yet...id take the Keenan side all day and Enunwa is a very nice bonus. with that being said, i definitely understand the frustration and get why you did it
