1.11 OTC

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Yes because he should take a 4th round RB over 2 1st round TEs, and 3rd round RB who is a plus pass catcher and plays for the Saints.
Look I like Perine, but he's a 2 down thumper and whether we like it or not that's what Rob Kelly is as well. No guarantee this isn't an ugly committee. And at 1.11, you can't afford to have that happen.

I am in this spot myself and trying to trade back if I can. The fact that you can make a case for so many guys is why I am happy to move back a couple spots and pick up another pick. Anyone who has completed a rookie draft has seen how deep this draft truly is. I literally was more excited about guys I was taking in the 4th round that I was about guys I took in the 2nd round in the last two drafts. Obviously all these guys aren't going to hit but there are a lot of strong talents in some good spots and some are going to hit. I want as many shots as I can get, especially with a team like yours that needs depth. Shop it and see what is out there IMO.

As for who you should take if you hold the pick, you are gonna get 5 differant answers. Go with your gut. I don't think there is a wrong choice with any of the guys you are considering, and in fact, I can make a case for a few others not included.

Team 2

TE: Eifert, Ebron,

2017 Picks: 1.06, 1.10, 2.06, 3.01, 3.10

Team 3 (3rd Year Orphan)

12 team .2 PPR (full point after 5 receptions), salary cap. 1QB, 1-3 RB, 2-4 WR, 1-3 TE.

There's prob teams that would want to trade up and get njoku or engram

Perhaps u can find an owner with multiple 2nds or get a 2nd and player.

If u keep the pick I'd go njoku over the others u mentioned but would also explore trading down to accumulate more pick/players

Hey this isn't bad advice if the owner knows what to do. Perine is likely to start year one and if you take him he is a flip candidate. In fact, he could have the highest trade value of any of the rookies in THIS range discussed in 5 months.
But, you don't take perine over better talent unless you understand your leaguemates and know there are owners who will bite at the early producion

I think this year's talent pool thins out fairly quickly at wide receiver. There are some guys you might get at 2.11 who can help you—maybe Carlos Henderson, in a couple of years. But I'd take JuJu and try to come back with Adam Shaheen later on. Take advantage of the chance to get a wide receiver with that WR2 upside. Then come back and get yourself a tight end who was also a second round selection in the NFL draft. JuJu appears blocked right now but there is talk from Pittsburgh sports writers that JuJu could become a middle of the field option early, working from the slot and helping to make up for losing Ladarius Green. —Best, Steve
