Is it time to trade Watkins?

Watkins is seemingly always injured and I'm getting concerned he might just be one of those what-if players.

We are about to hold our rookie draft next weekend and there might be a chance for me to trade Watkins for 1.03 & 2.03, would that be enough to pull the trigger?

I also have 1.04,1.05,1.06,1.09 & 1.11 in this draft.

In another trade, I'm thinking of moving 1.05 & 1.09 for 1.02 & 2.02 to grab Corey Davis because 1.01 is 95% Fournette in our league according to the owner of 1.01.

Should I just hold onto Watkins another year and hope he pulls it together or just get as much as I can now? This would be the best I can get in this league. I've sent out other feelers previously.

It could be the time to trade Watkins. If he gets injured this season his value should finally tank. However, if he plays healthy his value will ascend far above what you got in return. I'd want a little bit more than the 2.03 added to move him.

I'm waiting to hear back from the owner of the 1.02. He floated out that he was maybe looking to move back to 1.05. I told him I didn't necessarily need to move up because frankly, I'm happy with getting any 3 of the top 6 guys in this draft. I then said something I would would consider might be the offer I mentioned. I'll see what he says to that.

Also waiting on the owner of 1.03 about the interest in Watkins. He has talent but he has been lacking the best ability you can have like they say....Availability.

Not a fan of the Sammy deal, but it's not terrible. I love the second deal if you can get it done.

I've traded him 3 times, got him back 4 .. I'm always willing to trade Sammy

Going to hold him for the season though, I have Tyrod and expect a few games/hot streak this year ..

I would not do that deal personally but only because I don't think the 1.3 is enough. If you can get Davis, sure.

I recently traded Watkins and a 4th for Jordan Howard, Perriman, a 3rd and a 2nd; FWIW. I do like Watkins and also still believe in him.

I would do both deals, if possible. I think you hit the nail on the head with him, he will probably always be a "what if" player.

honestly, i think this is the year to take a gamble....if you believe (like i do) that is not a terrible price to pay...if you want, see if you can get a 4th round pick back....

I'm not a Watkins fan nor owner but i agree worth everyone else. It's time to move him while you can still get good value. I'd continue shopping him right into the draft as you may be able to pry a bit more out of him once guys start drafting but it's not a bad return.

Thanks for the input guys. I just am sitting here wondering if he will ever be what we thought when he was the 1.01 a couple years back. He has shown he has the talent so maybe I ride him out. Just waiting for the owner of the 1.03.
