Superflex startup OTC - Update

Postby Tyrober » Tue May 23, 2017 9:43 am

12 team PPR superflex TE premium. Has been a bit of a weird draft so far and I ended up with Luck and Winston at the 12+13th spots. After that QBs went like crazy so I am glad I grabbed two of them. Currently on deck and some big time WRs are still out there. Has the format of 1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 2FLEX 1SF devalued WRs this much since its only required to start 2 vs 3?

https://www67.myfantasyleague.com/2017/ ... 21055&O=17

Updated picks
1.12 - Luck
2.1 - Winston
3.12 - Hopkins
4.1 - Arob
5.12 - Adams
6.1- OJ Howard

Currently one spot from my pick and this has been the strangest draft with people falling. I am about to be on the clock and there are still some solid names left out there. Allen, Adams, Diggs, DThomas, Crowder, CColeman, DHenry, Crowell, OJ Howard, Tannehill. I would rather wait on my 3rd QB since I had two studs already but is it crazy to consider DHenry or OJ Howard over Allen? I 100% want Adams if he is still there but luckily I have two picks together so can grab two studs. Lots of TEs have already flew off the board since its TE premium. I am high on Ebron and could hopefully grab him at 7.12 if he is still there instead of Howard.

I'd go Hopkins and Arob pretty easily here. With already having Luck and Winston, your team will be competitive right out the gate.

I would take 2 of those guys easily.. Nuk and Arob are my top 2 as well.
You shouldnt look at it as a start 2 league. If its ppr I would be looking at it like its a start 3 or 4 wr league due to having 2 flexes

1.5. Would have considered Gronk and Kelce but they are both gone already

Damn...you Hopkins for sure, and you could twist my arm for ARob but I prefer Dez a little.

Reed wouldnt be a bad call either in that format.

That's what I did. Took Nuk then thought long and hard about Dez, Watkins, Arob and Davis and settled on Arob.

You were smart going with Hopkins and ARob at that point.

Luck, Winston, Nuk, AlRob as your first four picks in a PPR Superflex? You're laughing for an easy 5 years.

Rest of the league will kick themselves for letting you get so deep on your elite talent in the first four rounds.

Hopkins, Arob, Watkins, Dez, Cooks, Corey Davis, Adams are all on the board and its about to be my pick. Leaning towards Hopkins and Arob but Watkins,Dez, Corey Davis and Adams deserve to be in the convo
I had the Exact same situation, but its a league that also boosts RB per carry and 1.25 ppr so I went Gurley and Arob after getting Luck and Ryan in my first 2 rounds

I'm very excited about my team so far. I was absolutely dreading drafting from the 12th spot but guys just keep falling and falling so far.
