Howard + For Gurley or Gordon?

Hey guys, I was looking to trade Jordan Howard + another piece for either Gurley or Gordon for team 1 in my signature. Currently, I value Gordon as more of a win-now RB, and I view them equally long term, with the slight edge to Gurley because of Gurley's overall talent. 1 owner in my league owns both of these RBs.

I have Howard who I recently acquired in a trade, though I am not super high on him. I was looking to flip Howard + something for one of these two RBs I mentioned above. I'd love the idea of one of Gordon or Gurley, Fournette, and Miller as my Long term RBs. But is the cost worth it?

I tried offering Howard + 2.05 but the owner wanted a bit more than that.

I also tried offering Howard + Reed for Gurley + Ertz + 2.01. That was rejected as well.

I'm willing to over pay slightly but I dont want to damage the future of my team, if possible. I'd prefer to keep Fournette, Miller, Landry, Perriman, and White.. Pretty much The rest of my team I'd probably be open to dealing.

What do you guys think I should I offer?

I'd rather try to trade Fournette straight up for one of Gurley/Gordon instead.

Howard is underrated, I'd rather keep him than to sell him at his market price.

I'd rather Howard than Miller at this point. For me Howards value stays the same or goes up this season, I can easily see Miller's dive hard. Could you try and flip Miller? Start with Miller + 2.05 and see what comes back?

I hold Howard and trade Miller or Fournette for someone. I also wouldn't be adding anymore than a 2nd or 3rd on top of Howard for either of those 2

Am i the only one who just cant get behind all the Howard hype? I know he finished strong but isn't it a little early to be anointing him premium RB1 status.

Id be willing to add an early 2nd to get a deal done for either Gurley or Gordon.

I'm with you here. I'd be holding Fournette. When he finishes as an RB1 this year his value will sky rocket. He should already be among the top RBs but people are doubting him for erroneous reasons.

I'd be willing to trade Miller plus for either of those guys though. Doubt it gets done as most are rightfully down on Miller.

Thanks for the responses. I'm a Miller truther so I'd like to keep him if possible. I Tried trading 1.02 when I was on the clock yesterday, nobody was interested, so I took Fournette & I am happy with it.

I'm just not the biggest Howard fan..I'd much rather get a Gurley or Gordon..

I'd rather have Howard than Gordon and have him ranked dead even (or slightly higher) than Gurley as the latter is in such a terrible offense that is only getting worse. No way should you be adding any pieces.

Miller truther or not, moving him is your best bet here. I am not as high on Howard as others, but he has that 3 down job locked down, and he looked pretty damn good doing it last year.

I think you should just hold Howard and not worry about upgrading. I like Gordon and Gurley, but Howard should be just as good.
