Crazy superflex startup

So I am commish in a league I set up with a few buddies of mine and had to find a couple random people I do not know to fill the spot and most of them are new to superflex. I made sure everyone knew and understood what it meant and that they could start two QBs at all times but its now on pick 1.11 and there have been zero QBs taken so far. Zero. I'm at pick 12 and was planning to take Winston and Mariota because I thought Rodgers and Luck would be long gone but its on 1.11 and they are BOTH still here. I have passing TDs setup as 5 instead of the traditional 4 as well so its not like they are undervalued or anything crazy. Odell also somehow fell to 5 which blows my mind but thats not the point here


How should I approach a draft where people do not understand the value of a QB in this system? If these guys are going to wait on a QB should I wait as well? Seems crazy to take two guys others than Luck and Rodgers at this point but if everyone else waits would it make sense? I have to be overthinking this right?

Obviously I'd go Luck and another QB...or try trading back in 2nd/3rd and pick up some extra picks.

I took Luck and Winston and feel great about it. Thought about getting cute and waiting but didnt see the point when I knew I could land two studs and be done with it. Seeing others wait gave me the idea of waiting as well but picking at the end would almost certainly cause me to miss an eventually QB run

You're good for a while, you have your foundation, now build the farm!

Luck and Rodgers my man. Rodgers has at least 5 more years of top of the line play. I wouldn't blame you for taking one qb and then trying to move down a few spots and grabbing a jameis or mariota. You have a big advantage in a superflex with rodgers and luck as your 2 qbs though.

Just because they all made mistakes doesn't mean that you need to fall in line and make mistakes, as well.

Take Luck and Rodgers and don't look back. And, if for some crazy reason, Winston or Wilson or Carr or Mariota is there in round 3, then take him, too.

Good decision. Drafting at the turn really reduces your options to take risks.

I'd be more concerned that your league is prioritizing RBs. Jordan Howard in the first? He went in the 4th in my Superflex but that's a 14 teamer and QBs went quick and early. Still, though. Jordan Howard over Luck and Rodgers in a Superflex? My god.

You draft how you want in spite of everyone else. You warned them.

For sure Luck and either Winston/Carr. That's unbelievable value. Take 2 QB then show this year how valuable they are.

I have a superflex that went the exact opposite. Luck and Rodgers went at 6 and 7. Then from 1.11 to 2.09 - 11 qbs taken in a row! Big Ben as the 2.08... I stopped it with Freeman at 2.10
