ARob+ for Gronk++

Postby harveyd » Mon May 22, 2017 9:03 am

Thoughts on this deal?

Give:
Allen Robinson
Jimmy Graham

Get:
Rob Gronkowski
Carlos Hyde
Theo Riddick
Jeremy Maclin

How do you guys feel about this trade for my team below? ARob and Gronk are both coming off down years but I'm more confident in gronk bouncing back than Arob. I also seriously need some RB depth as I only have Gordon then a bunch of question marks. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Arob side for me. I don't trust Gronk's health and Jimmy actually had a very good year last year. The other pieces on the Gronk side don't excite me very much.

thanks for the response Goddard, what do you think the difference is? would a 2018 1st even it out?

Agreed with Goddard. An 18 1st would make it hard to pass on, especially considering the 3 additional pieces would be solid depth players in a 12 teamer

I'm sticking with the ARob side. Even if a 2018-1st was added. It makes it a better deal but nothing to make me feel great about moving ARob for injury riddled Gronk.

Arob side for me. The 1st would sway me, but Arob is the best player in the deal.

I value Arob and Gronk similarly so gimme the Gronk side. The other pieces are much better than Graham to me.

I like Graham a lot, but I'm not a big ARob fan, and I think Gronk is overrated becuase of his injury risk. The guys in this deal I like best for their ADP are Riddick and Maclin, but it's hard for me to tell which side I like better because I dislike the main pieces at their prices so much...Looking at your team I think I'd stick with what you have. Maclin and Hyde wouldn't start for you, and Gronk isn't a massive upgrade at TE over Graham IMO. Losing ARob would hurt your team more than getting the depth would benefit you.
