My picks in bold. Pretty happy with all my picks relative to their position. Feel like I got good value throughout. My biggest disappointment was Godwin going at 2.10 right before I picked at 2.11. Other than that, I feel good about this draft. what do you guys think?

Yeah, it was a unique situation. The guy who had picks 1, 4 & 7 is arguably the strongest team in the league (at least top 2), and he seemed to be dead set on going WR, WR, WR (despite already having OBJ, Evans, Alshon, DT, Diggs & Snead). The guy who had picks 2, 5 & 8 is in a serious rebuild, so he can afford to wait on JuJu. Worked out great for me, since the 1.09 would've taken Perine if Cook hadn't fallen to him.

I'd say you did well. I think getting Perine at 10th was a good value. He was taken 7th in our league today and several people were livid when he was taken.

Yeah. I was relieved. I had traded 2.03 & Rawls for the 1.10 a couple days ago with every intention of drafting him, but when the 1.09 said they were taking him if Cook wasn't there, I was definitely sweating it.

I like the Mixon pick, but i can't say that I like any of the other picks. I think you passed on a lot of talented players. I also would have tried to trade up one spot to take Cook.

Appreciate the feedback. Mixon was a no-brainer, which is exactly how I'd planned it. I originally had the 1.01 and even before the NFL draft, I felt like LF, Davis and Mixon were all really close. After seeing where they all landed, I still felt the same way, so I traded the 1.01 for the 1.03, Lamar Miller and $800 FAAB (80% of starting balance).

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on who I should've taken instead for the subsequent picks. For what it's worth, here was my thinking for each pick:

1.10 Perine - He was the 4th RB on my pre-NFL draft board, barely above Foreman. Was never really high on Cook. If Perine was gone, I probably would've reached a bit on Foreman. I already have Fat Rob and Lamar, so I'd be hedging a bet either way. I just think Perine has an easier and quicker path to fantasy relevance.

2.11 McNichols - I'd have been downright giddy to grab Godwin here, and in retrospect, I probably should've tried to trade up for him. This was my first year running the live draft as a commish, so I was admittedly focusing more on entering everyone else's picks and neglected to notice the value that was falling to me until it was too late. That said, McNichols was my BPA. Blame Matt Kelley, I guess. Haha.

3.04 Kupp & 3.05 Golladay - After going BPA on my first three picks and grabbing three RBs, I guess you can chalk this up to drafting for need. It's getting into dart throw territory at this point, so I just snagged the two best WRs left on my board. Can Kupp become the next Landry? Unlikely, but someone's gotta catch passes in LA. Can Golladay become the next Megatron? Highly unlikely, but Stafford doesn't have any big red zone targets other than Ebron.

3.08 Shaheen - Wanted to get a piece of this loaded TE class without burning premium draft capital. Mission accomplished. Immediately placed him on my taxi squad to free up a spot for one last pick...

4.01 Krishawn Hogan - This was a dreamer pick for sure. Love this kid's story almost as much as his measurables. My league is based in AZ and has numerous Cardinals homers (see Chad Williams going at 2.06), so it'd be even sweeter to rub it in their faces for sleeping on Hogan if he pans out.

I like the 1.01 trade a lot. The Perine pick wasn't bad, I just would have liked it more if you were able to move up one spot for Cook. I think there's a huge gap in talent between the two. Godwin would have been great if he fell to you, but I think I'd rather have Samuel or even Joe Williams over McNichols. The rest actually weren't that bad. I maybe would have taken Jamaal Williams over one of the late picks. I don't think you drafted terribly, but felt like you reached on some of the picks. Hopefully a couple hit and it won't really matter after. My favorite part was the 1.01 for Miller and Mixon trade.
