picks 1.1 and 1.3

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

picks 1.1 and 1.3

Postby gaz29 » Mon May 01, 2017 2:41 pm

So I own picks 1.1, 1.3 and 1.10 in an upcoming draft. I have been in rebuild mode and acquired the 1.1 last year

This are my skill players
Mariota, Newton

Ajayi, M Davis, Draughn, Forsett, Rawls, J White, Woodhead,

K Benjamin, M Bryant, Cobb, Cruz, Edelman, Green-Beckham, Humphries, Inman, R Matthews, Patton, M allace, M Wilson, Woods,

Fleener, J James, McDonald, Seferian-Jenkins

I floated the idea of trading one of the 1.1 or 1.3 picks and someone came wanting both.

He offered me a combination of

McCoy
Forte
Fuller
Greg Olsen

Now those don't interest me in the slightest.

He does have Nuk and JJ Watt that do interest me. he also has the 1.09 and a 2018 1st that I would quite like

How close would the 1.01 and 2.03 for Nuk, 1.09 be?

Nuk > 1.01. You shouldn't expect pick 9 back. If you can get that, I'd do that all day. Otherwise I would just draft Fournette and either Davis or McCaffrey. What's the guy at pick 2 going to do? Any insight might help with your decisions. Ideally, you want to get both Fournette and Davis for your team.

Don't think that gets it done for Nuk. In your situation, I'd just draft the best players available and build on them.

I am not sure what pick two is going to do. His best RB is Crowell and Hyde and his best WRs are Coleman (CLE), Fitz, Nelson and Garcon

I'd keep the 1.01 and 1.03. If you value any of the 3 above the others, draft them first. Then be happy with who falls to you at 1.03. I personally took Davis with my 1.01 as I had a significant WR need, and then McCaffrey fell to me at 1.03.
