This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

A good Problem

Postby Never Veto1 » Sun Apr 30, 2017 11:14 am

So I have the 1.01 and I don't think I have any glaring holes, maybe RB but I'm fine playing with lesser RB's. So my question is who you take at 1.01 with this roster if I don't get any good offers by tomorrow when my draft starts?

12 Team ppr start 2-3 RBs and 3-4 WRs
Luck, Wentz, Siemian
Gordon, Lacy, Du Johnson, Kelley, Mathews, Stewart, Michael
Green, Bryant, Fitz, Maclin, Theilen, Kearse, Gordon
Gronk, Rudolph

1.01, 1.10

RB - Christian McCaffrey, JK Dobbins, Tony Pollard, Jaylen Warren

Corey Davis 100%. Not sure how many RBs you have to start, but they look fine to me as long as you don't have to play 3+ each week. Go with BPA, and that's Davis to me.

If that was my team, I would go with Fournette. I think it's close between him and Davis and you probably can't go wrong but that's what I would do with your RBs.

Fournette is going to be the workhorse and the focal point of that offense for years to come. Any other rookie isn't guaranteed to be the main option on their team. Take Fournette, unless you feel like gambling.

Updated some info. I've also been offered Gurley + Stills for 1.01 + 1.10 + Du Johnson. I'm pretty sure I'm going to pass though, I think Fournette is just as good if not better then Gurley and the situation is definitely better

Fournette unless you plan to restock/rebuild soon. Your team is competitive for a couple more seasons and Fournette gives you the best chance of instant production.... imo

I am leaning Davis since Fitz is aging and Maclin is kind of a question mark. Since you are starting at least 3 WR in a PPR league, Davis would be insurance when Fitz is done.

Luck
Gordon, Fournette
Green, Bryant, Fitz
Gronk

Or

For me, I think lineup #1 is better. Picking Fournette locks down two really good RBs in Gordon/Fournette. You can ride Fitz as your #3 this season and worry about that later, I just wouldn't want to trust Lacy as my other starting RB.

I am a big proponent of drafting WR's and then picking up RB's later, but LF would fill out your roster very nicely. Having said that, if you took Davis you would likely be able to pick up a solid developmental RB (hunt, Mack, etc) at 1.10.

It's debatable, but go bpa at 1.01, Davis for me, but Fournette is there and fits your team needs- no problem going LF
