DJ or 1/2/3?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

DJ or 1/2/3?

Postby Bisquiteen Trisket » Sun Apr 30, 2017 6:46 am

No offer on the table or anything. There is an owner who holds the top 3 picks in the draft. I am not sure if I can compete this year so I was thinking of selling DJ while he is a top asset.

My notable players in PPR, start 1QB/2WR/2RB/1TE/3Flex
QB: Ryan, Carr
WR: MThomas, DAdams, Gabriel, Woods
RB: DJ, Martin, Sims, Richard, Kelley
TE: Ebron, Olsen

Which side you got?

Is this for one of your teams in your sig because they don't match up with team you listed in your post. Do you need those picks? Your team looks pretty stacked as it stands out side of a clear WR3 and a RB2, but DJ would probably pick up the slack on that. I'd go for the ring based on your team.

Oh man I love DJ and it be hard to trade him. But the 1.01,1.02,1.03 is great value for any single player I think, and I'd have to do it on value alone. Then wait till the rookie draft and double your value again by flipping them picks when the fever is boiling over. You could really net a haul here.

No not for any team in my sig. I just picked up this team a week ago and haven't gotten around to editing my sig.

I don't think the owner of the picks would do the trade but I was contemplating making the offer.

Think you should go with the picks and use 1.3 to move down to 1.5-1.6 and add to the haul. DJ is incredible to have but one season ending injury (very possible with his workload) and he'll already be 26 when he takes the field again. Easy to get lost in pick fever but you can nab a WR1, RB1 and an RB 1-2 with those spots. Sometimes you gotta pull the trigger

Having said that I doubt that guy pulls the trigger after last year

If I'm a DJ owner, I'm keeping him. If I have the picks, I'd have a hard time giving up all that. Seems pretty fair I guess.

Unless you're in a rebuild, take DJ.
