I voted 1.04 as that would be what I would ideally want to sell him. I think when he is used only from the slot like he will be this year he should be more successful. I don't think that because he could switch teams next year makes his value any higher however, I just think he is talented when used properly.

I do like JMatt a lot I just figure I would move him or Parker since I have 7 WRs I like and don't think he would play much , For me they are just taking up a spot I thought maybe I can get a nice pick to taxi a player for two years and hope for the best

The problem I've seen with JMatt is that a lot of people don't believe so won't pay. I just bought him a while ago because the owner was trying to move and he couldn't get what I deemed market value so I bought for Moncrief.....but I have JMatt > Crief. If you can trade one I would prob trade Parker since you can prob get more from other owners

Given what you've stated his 'expected' production is this year in other threads, you're either acknowledging it was wrong or you're making a bad decision on sell timing. Perhaps you get the value to equate to that expected production, but that isn't the standard value out there.

Yeah thats why I won't sell him for less than a 1.05 or 1.06 if I like the guy there , I really think he will get his 120-130 targets and that's all he needs to produce what I think he can or close to it.. I just feel he won't start for me that is the only reason I would take less than the 1.04

Fair or not, Matthew's value has taken a hit this offseason with the new wr additions in Philly, and the general perception he had a disappointing year last season and suffers from the drops. His production to this point probably warrants a top 3 pick price tag, but the reality is it's doubtful any owners are paying much higher than late 1sts(1.08-1.12) prices right now if you are selling. If u are believer in him like it seems, then you are better off selling someone else. If he hits the numbers you think he can, and being a FA next offseason, he's sure to experience a value spike sometime in the next year.

I'd say anywhere between 1.07 and 1.09; you're getting JJSS there or John Ross. I think that's a pretty comparable comparison.

Rookie fever probably. People like the idea of the unknown becoming whatever they can think of in their minds. Most players in that range won't amount to anything though. JMatt is going to have a nice season in the slot for philly this year. But another reason for the poll is that a lot of his value comes in deeper leagues as a low end WR2, high end WR3. In 10 team leagues like mine, I would much rather just gamble on an unknown WR or RB and their upside even if I know that JMatt has more value. Studs rule in my league, and JMatt isn't going to be one of them. People don't like paying for middling options when they can add a little more and get someone much better.
