Stud for picks

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Stud for picks

Postby theviper » Sat Apr 29, 2017 6:17 am

16 team PPR IDP dynasty, QB, 2RB, 4WR, 1RB/WR/TE; my team:

Winston, Palmer, Smith
L Murray, Ware, Gio, D Wash (OAK)
Evans, Hopkins, ARob, K Allen, T Hill, Sanders
Walker, J James
2017 picks: 3rd round and on

Obviously I need RBs. Since i have the depth, should I trade away one of my WRs (Evans can get most in return; ARob is also an option) for draft picks? Maybe Evans for 2 2017 1sts and a 2018 2nd? Swap in ARob instead? Or should I be looking to trade a stud WR for stud RB? Just looking for some thoughts. Thanks!

No, do not do that. 4/5 WR start, keep the WRs.

Depends on which picks but since you HAVE to start 4 WRs and CAN start 5, I wouldn't be in any rush to deal a stud.

RB always become available as the season progresses. Just stash some guys at end of bench with potential paths to the starting lineup like Jonathan Williams types.

Keenan or Arob are the only two I would move if at all. You will regret moving Evans I would think. Don't get the rookie fever. We all do a little this time of year.

You'd need more than 2 firsts to move Evans. I'd consider moving Arob or Keenan if it nets you 2 mid-early firsts or a top tier rookie RB, which looks like Fournette only now.

Keenan is the only guy I would move from that team. Maybe someone will give you a top 4 - 6 pick for him and you get your choice of whoever falls. Personally, I'd keep all the wideouts and try to package a 2018 1st and 2nd to get a decent pick in round 1 or a good vet.

This. Without knowing what the picks are, hard to tell you to do any of them.

One interested owner has 1.04, 1.07, 1.09, 2018 1st and 2 2nds. I'm not liking the idea of trading Evans, but I'm open to ARob or KA given offer.
