Arob Trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Arob Trade

Postby crashdkw » Tue Apr 25, 2017 6:34 pm

I'm trying to sell my share of Arob, too many mouths to feed in Jacksonville.

I was offered Golden Tate, Donte Moncrief, Breshad Perriman for Arob

He also has Julio, TY, Hopkins, Crowder, Martavis Bryant, Hogan, and Gordon

I was thinking to counter for Crowder instead of Perriman, or even trade for Hopkins or Hilton his choice.

Thoughts?

Why do you think there's too many mouths to feed in Jax? You know ARob has pulled in 150+ targets in each of the last two seasons right?

First do not make the first trade even if you swap out Perriman. That's a terrible trade for you.

Unless you get Hilton or Hopkins hang tight. Outside of Arob there is hardly any "mouths to feed" I'm very confused why you added that. They have hardly anyone

Allen Hurns, and Marquise Lee are the other mouths, Marqise had 10 less catches and 20 fewer yds than Arob who had a 150 targets for a measly 73 catches for 883 yards and 6 td's. Whereas the year before he had 80 catches for 1400 yds 14 tds. The targets are elevated as a result of Bortles sucking. I just don't think he is going to return to WR1 numbers.

I like Nuk, but that QB situation in Texas I'd rather avoid.

Why not just ask for TY straight up?

Wow, sounds like Marqise Lee is better than ARob. Maybe you should trade ARob for Lee straight up then? Or maybe you could get Tyrell Williams straight up since he had a better season than ARob?

You gotta look at stuff in context or you're gonna lose out on a ton of value.

Whatever you decide on, take advantage of the owner being rich and get him to toss in Martavis

This type of logic will send you to the cellar of the league fast. The offer you are considering isn't even close. By the logic you are using, Tyreek Hill, Mike Wallace, Tyrell Williams, Terrelle Pryor, and Rishard Mathews are all better dynasty fantasy WRs than ARob. Too many mouths to feed, lol.

Those offers are terrible. Either try ARob for Nuk straight up, or for Hilton and a little something on top.

I like this idea. Sounds like the owner is willing to over pay a little. TY getting balls from Luck or Arob getting balls from Bortles??? Maybe he does toss in Bryant. Playoff the knucklehead roll..

I'd want more for ARob.

Holy bleep, it amazes me how often the analysis on this board seems like it is for redraft leagues.

ARob had an extreme down year, this isn't the time to sell him.. Wait till he strings a few good games in a row next year and sell him for more. I don't believe in selling low on a 23/24 year old...
