Shep Value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Somewhere around WR5/6 at best...gladly take Davis, Williams, Juju, Ross, and possibly Godwin or Zay ahead of him if they go to a nice spot.

Personally I am not buying at all, but if I were I wouldn't pay more than a mid-2nd. Some will call me a hater, I prefer to call myself a realist on Shep's future upside.

This is what i'm thinking as well, I love shep but I would have him #3 in this draft, his biggest upside is a PPR slot machine and the only thing that kept him higher last year was his TD rating and I think 8 is his ceiling. Hes a great #5 WR on my team but i'm looking at moving up in this draft to get better value at Davis or Williams

If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

I'm with this. Those are all guys that I'd rather take my chances with over Shepard. I said it a few days ago, I think his ceiling and floor are very close and don't see him as more than a WR3. That's not a bad thing, but I'd rather shoot for guys with higher upside, even if I'm burned by it later.

Exactly! I have no interest in a true WR3 being more than a WR5 on my squad. If Shep is your WR3, then I think you are in trouble to win a title. If he is your WR5/6, then why bother owning him if you can get a guy with WR2 upside instead via trade? Or use him to upgrade at a different position?
