Davis vs Top RBs

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Davis vs Top RBs

Postby CM21VE » Mon Apr 24, 2017 8:16 pm

Alright, in a bit of a pickle here👌, I have nothing for RBs on my roster(well nothing worth talking about!) I have the 1st overall pick and 1.9, 1.11 and 1.12 in the first. I also have 2.3. I know I need RB help, but does Davis make more sense over a Fournette/mixon/cook and then just try to fill in RBs towards the back end of round 1? My current WR roster has Watkins, Jeffrey, Corey Coleman, donte moncrief etc.

Would another WR and possibly one that will be a stud for years be smart? Or should I just take the damn RB?
I can start up to 4 WRs and it is PPR.
Ugh!

I always take best player available. It sounds like you think that's Davis, so I guess you should take him. However, I think Fournette is the easy choice at 1.01 right now, so I'd personally go with him.

I would take Fournette at 1.01 as well. After that it's a toss up between Davis Cook McCaffrey and Mixon depending on where they land.
12 team. .5 PPR, 6pt passing, 6 pt rushing/receiving. 25 man roster.

rookies - 3 of any position

RB: Hall
WR: G Wilson, Olave, Dell (R)
TE: Kelce
DE: Josh Allen
LB: Q Walker, E Jones
DB: D James

Wouldn't stress about it until after the draft and you know where everyone lands. Maybe Davis drops into the 2nd like some mocks are saying and it'll make it easier.

All things equal, take whoever you think is the best player. If you have the 3 RBs fairly equal, see if 1.03 or 1.04 might be interested in moving up and you can get your RB and something else.

I'd be having chats with the owners of 1.03 and 1.04. Try and get a nice piece to move back and still get one of the top guys. If the deal isn't right for you then grab Fournette if that landing spot is sweet.
