Keenan Allen Value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Agreed. FUN FACT:

Keenan Allen started his 2nd season with 67 catches for 725 yards through 8 games. That puts him on pace for 134 catches and 1450 yards.

Anyway, I did a search for players who started the season with a minimum of 67-725, and 3 other WRs came up. Julio, Marvin Harrison, Tory Holt (if I'm remembering correctly). Pretty good list to be on.

His injuries aren't soft tissue injuries, so I'm holding out hope that he can recover and dominate with Rivers like the old days.

I was thinking the same thing top 2 or 3, I was offered the 1.08 and turned that down. The guy who sent the offer has the 1.05 and the 1.08 as well as the 2.01, 2.02 and 2.10.

I'd want the 1.05 and 1.07/1.08. People might say that's too much, but a mid 1st and a 2nd just wouldn't motivate me to move him.

I like Allen and all but very injury prone and was over targeted because 1 they had no run game at all and 2 they really only had gates , Now with Gordon running wild , Gates and Henry , Tyrell and Inman I can see a big drop off but he still has a chance at close to 100-1100 "IF" he can stay healthy..

That note I would want at least a 1.04 for him

I feel like Keenan's value sits somewhere around 1.06-1.08 for me. Fournette, McCaffrey, M Williams, C Davis, D Cook are definitely ahead for me. Ross, OJ, Mixon are right there with Keenan. His performance warrants a higher pick but his injuries knock him down a few pegs.

I got the 1.03 for him a month ago. I am in need of RB help, but I honestly kind of regret making the trade.

I've floated him for 1.04 and got rejected. So looks like he's staying a while.

Wait...so you are knocking down Keenan because of injuries despite showing he is a legit WR1/WR2 option, and are willing to put a guy who couldn't even make it through the combine healthy (to go along with his other injury red flags) at the same value?

This is nuts---in a few weeks you won't be able to sell the hype anymore, and you're going to have to live with the player you take in your rookie draft this year. The latest ADP has him at 18 right now, while Fournette, Davis, and Cook are 24, 27, and 30. He's an injury risk for sure, but let's not pretend that he's needed the same surgery two years in a row like Gronk or Watkins. The guy tore his ACL on a non-contact play, and had his kidney explode the year before. PLEASE give me KA if you're selling for anything less than 1.1 right now.

Injury prone is Sammy Watkins who has lingering foot injuries! A torn spleen and a torn acl doesn't make you injury prone those are freak accidents

Maybe he is just one of them guys that can't avoid injuries.. tbh I'm not really holding that to much against him the thing I am worried about is all the other talent they have now compared to 2014 - 2015 to take a lot of targets away from him

I cannot argue with on the targets that are now there. I was more or less pointing out he shouldn't be considered injury prone and even with henry Gordon Williams etc he should still see 100+ targets and be the clear WR1 there
