Where do we view Gillislee now that he's a Pat?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

definitely not either. have fun guessing which of the RBs they have gets the 7 carries and 3 catches.

hes a non-existent entity to me now that hes a belicheck guy. theres a chance Danny Amendola ends up with more carries....HUGE step down IMO, definitely not a RB1 in my mind.

I would think he would at least rise up to Legarrete Blount status..

I figure he's the short yardage guy like Blount, but with more versatility to catch the ball as well. I'm thinking he's their RB1. Still crowded though so touches could vary from week to week.

I think he gets at least half of the carries that Blount gets. Maybe a little more. I think they let Blount and Lewis walk, then its a white, Burkhead and Gillisilee RBBC. If i had to chose one then i would want Gillislee

well considering Blount is 44 ranked on this site for dynasty RBs, Gillislee may in fact be RISING to that spot (as he is in the 60s) but that is still far from RB2 status...just because a guy may have a shot and doing something doesnt mean he will and i dont view Gillislee as a long-term dynasty asset, he might flash this year and he might be the best thing ever, but hes also now a Pat and that means mind-boggling/frustrating usage in a crowded, Hot-hand backfield.

Neither, is the correct answer. Sure, he might have a few good games when he scores a TD, but I wouldn't expect him to match Blount's TD totals...heck, I wouldn't even expect Blount to match Blount's TD totals if he stayed in NE. That backfield is just way too crowded for me, more so than ever to trust anyone.

Ya, neither, but I think he will be a flex option and will probably finish in the top 24 making him an rb2 by numbers, but unreliable week to week and very td dependent. He will almost surely get the goal line touches which is huge in that offense.

If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

Week to week game plan depending on if they want to go at a fast pace or grind you out so you can play the odds and use him during the ball control week and hope the game script goes according to plan...

I would stay away from that backfield altogether. I would put money on the leading rusher for the Patriots this year is not named White, Burkhead, or Gillislee. Belichek may draft a RB.

I picked him up for free last year on the hopes he'd be in BUF after McCoy is done. He looked good when given the chance, and McCoy doesn't have much tread left on the tires/he's always one step away from another injury. All that said, I couldn't have been more deflated when NE got him. Trade value is essentially nil, and I can't trust Bill enough to start him. I think he's neither RB1/2 unless there are some serious injuries in that backfield.

Blount was washed up and cast away from the Steelers when he came back to the Pats and put up decent numbers. Gillislee is 26 years old and has put up great numbers as a #2. I think he gets a lot of the early down work and the Pats (whether you like it or not) will be playing from the lead a lot this year. If the price is right, he is the one NE RB I would carry into the year.

Typically I wouldn't want any Pat's rbs but I really do like Gilly. I think he'll be a solid flex and occasional #2.
