1.10 or Mariota in 1 QB League

In redraft I usually stream QB's and in my Dynasty league I picked Brady real late. However I am in search of a QB to replace Brady after he retires. I was going to try and trade back in the second to pick a QB late like Deshaun Watson or Trubisky, but I got an offer from an owner that has Brees, Winston and Mariota but no first round pick. He wont trade Brees or Winston but offered me Mariota for the 1.10.

Should I make the trade, get my QB for the future and dont look back? I think the titans add OJ Howard or a WR in the first round and it really opens up Mariotas game.

Do i stay put and Draft BPA at 1.10 and keep improving my team?

I'm not someone who likes buying a QB, but that is not a bad price at all. I would definitely give the 1.10 to grab Mariota... also if Garoppolo is a FA (based on league size I would guess there is a small chance he is), I would make sure I made room for him on my roster. When Brady is done he may flop, but is definitely worth a stash to see what happens.

I see no problem with the trade. I'd much rather make that trade with 10 than gamble on a qb with one of those 2nds.

If you need to move up in the draft....all those 2nds may do so. If you'd like to move back from 4, you can.....at minimum your walking out with a franchise qb imo.

I won't ever "stream" QBs but I wouldn't put Brady on a list like that anyway because he can produce top 5 numbers. I am a believer in wanting a "plug and play" QB every week because guessing on which streaming option will produce the best is a losing proposition. Mariota gives you an automatic start option every week (like Brady). I'd easily pay a 1.10 for any QB in that range of talent.

I'd make the trade and then shop Brady to contenders for a 2018 or even 2019 1st. That way, you'd get a similar pick back a year or two from now while getting 16 years younger at QB.

Im a contender and having Brady gives me a Solid QB as i am trying to win now. However having Mariota would give me a good option for bye weeks and when brady plays teams like Denver

I would rather keep the 1.10 personally. It's not a bad offer either way. But Brady is primed to play for 3 more years barring a big injury. Why not just ride him out, and revisit a trade like this when you need to. Then you can get a chance at Howard.

I dont think Howard gets past the 1.7 spot based on my conversations with that owner, however I am not going to make the trade until I am on the clock. That was a sticking point with me on the trade offer and he has agreed to it.

That's a very good strategy. Since he's loaded at QB in a 1 QB league, I'm sure he's dying to unload one of them. Once you're on the clock, you might be able to get him to throw in a 2018 2nd or something small on top.

I would wait as well in a one QB league and 22 roster spots I would use the WW as my backup QB. The big issue with MM is lack of pass attempts.
