Watkins for Doug Baldwin/2.01 10 Team PPR
I just got offered Watkins for Doug Baldwin/2.01 in my 10 Team PPR/Non-IDP league. My first impulse was to immediately accept, but with Watkins injury history I'm getting a little cold feet. Just like to hear a few opinions. Thanks in advance.
Re: Watkins for Doug Baldwin/2.01 10 Team PPR
I like the Watkins side if you have enough depth at the position.

Re: Watkins for Doug Baldwin/2.01 10 Team PPR
If you want consistent top 15 WR numbers, keep Baldwin. If you want a headache that sits on your bench half the season, go with Watkins.
As an owner of both players, this trade is way closer than people are making it out to be.

The Watkins love strikes again
It's close but I'd keep Baldwin. Super explosive and 13 TDs is tough to replace. He's a locked in WR2

X2! Baldwin is underrated. Yea Sammy may have more upside but Baldwin is a consistent top 15 guy! He scores points isn't hurt and has a good qb. I think I would prefer the Baldwin side as welleraldo_coil wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2017 8:27 am If you want consistent top 15 WR numbers, keep Baldwin. Re: Watkins for Doug Baldwin/2.01 10 Team PPR
Thanks for the replies, very much appreciated. I ended up trading Baldwin/2.01 for Watkins. In the end I decided I could risk losing Baldwin, he is my #3 or 4 WR right now, Julio/Hopkins/Jeffries/Parker/Snead. With Sammy still only 23 years old, I'm looking at the glass being half full now. It's amazing how much more you can like a player once he is on your team. I was trying to stay away from acquiring Sammy but just couldn't resist taking this chance.

I'm with you 3. I haven't given up on Watkins, but why should Baldwin be worth less than him? I'd want that 2.01 on the other side at this point.pierson242 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2017 8:34 amSpace Cowboy wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2017 8:32 am The Watkins love strikes again

Watkins: 2014 - WR25 2015 - WR16 , 2016 - WR87
Baldwin: 2014 - WR44, 2015 - WR7 , 2016 - WR10
I'm taking the Baldwin side. I understand Watkins was injured last year, but isn't that just another thing against him, staying healthy is a concern. I know Baldwin is older, but you're also giving up the 2.01 in a 10 team league. I think I'll take my chances with Baldwin and whoever I get with the 11th overall pick. I understand Sammy has all the upside in the world, I'm just staying away.
