In the sense that he's a known quantity / RB2 I agree. But it's not that far off in start-up ADP for pick 11 and pick 14. I think it's a risk, but if CLE goes RB valued drops. And...I'd like to target a guy like Foreman/Perine at 1.11 and try snagging a Godwin/Njoku at 2.03

Well said, I too believe Crowell is a solid RB2. But the picks are intriguing and those options at those spots make this a tough call. I would prefer the picks until after the draft.

By the way I am lost as to why he hasn't signed his tender nor been in attendance to the workouts. Something fishy is going on in Cleveland. Could he be disgruntled?

I would go Crowell here, but I am also wondering if those picks will get you a RB at a better situation.

I'm more of a "take the proven player" kind of guy, so i'm on the Crowell side here pretty easily. I guess if you're a rebuilding team it might make sense to throw darts on those picks, though.

If your a contender, I feel like you take Crowell short (2 year window) term value on the Browns. I don't like his talent long term but he has a good shot at being flex worthy for a bit. If rebuilding, then take a couple solid dart throws at RBs.

The Browns doesn't have a QB so they're gonna probably rely heavily on the run game. With the beefed up O-line I feel Crowell has legit RB1 upside. He's pass catching abilities are underrated and he runs really hard. He's only 23, but it's the Browns so you never know. It's a small price to pay for RB1 upside and his stocks are rising, but I've seen him go for just the late first. Maybe try to switch the 2nd for a 3rd, or maybe include a player you wanna get rid off etc.

This was my sense. I think Crowell has peaked, turn him into two nice lotto tickets in a stacked draft and trust your evaluations.

The offer isn't terrible but I value Crowell more than those picks.

I MIGHT consider giving one of these picks for Crowell, but I'm not giving both. Give me the picks.

Funny how a player gains steam during the off-season and the tables turn with his value. I think Crowell has gone from universally undervalued to somewhat overvalued in a 2-3 month span.

This.

I couldn't get a late first for him from playoff teams last year right before the end of our regular season. And now he's worth a late 1st and early 2nd in the offseason? And it's days before the draft. While not likely, it's possible something goes down that monumentally hurts his value over the next week.

I'm not sure how you can say this when you look at some of the other RB's current ADP's (Hyde, Henry, Coleman, Ajayi). Crow is a similar talent and is cheaper than all of those guys. He started to become more of a factor in the passing game too (53 targets).

This is always a dangerous time to buy RB's. Crowell is no Zeke, Bell, or Dj and could definitely get replaced in the draft. That said, I like the Cro side here.
