Sell Dez?

For team 2 in sig would you sell Dez for the 1.01?
Seems like the owner of 1.01 might be interested, however on a side note he will then be in the run for the title next year... (which I consider myself to be also)

Yeah, it's close for me as well, but I lean slightly towards 1.01 as well. Because of all the 'what-ifs', I would just try to get younger.

If you think you are a true contender then I wouldn't trade Dez, because that's going to put you pretty thin at WR, starting 3 a week, that could get dicey. It's close enough that I don't blame you if you trade him but imo, it could shift your team into a kinda rebuild/retool kinda thing, something to think about it, good luck either way.

I would think the opposite. In none of my leagues was the 1.01 owner willing to sell for Dez straight up, and certainly not to throw something in.

I personally prefer the 1.01 slightly, but I would only do it if you feel comfortable with Coleman as your WR3 (unless the M Thomas in your sig is the NO one, but you have him listed at the end).

How about move Dez for a young proven player and another 1st in the draft.. It would be hard for me to move a starting WR like Dez for just one pick what if he busts then there goes your rebuild and contention , At least if you get a proven player it won't hurt as much when the pick busts

Give me the proven vs the hype here. I may be in the minority but I'd prefer Dez straight up. If you got a WR in return to help ease the pain if the pick busts, then it makes sense in my eyes.

I'd say it's about even value wise, Dez is worth a little more but not a ton more. I tried trading Dez in one league where I'm stacked at WR for the 1.01 and the owner said he was very interested and would need to wait till after the draft, so if it's something you're offering it for sure not a bad offer

From a pure value standpoint I'd feel good about making a bet with someone that the 1.01 rookie in this class will have a higher ADP and carry more trade value then Dez will 1 year from now. So if I was rebuilding I'd probably look long-term and take the 1.01. As a contender though, I'd probably keep Dez if I needed him, but I'd be doing so knowing that this will probably be the last opportunity to get 1.01 value in return for him.

PS: I'm in way too many leagues to make posting rosters in my sig of any real use, so if someone would like to take me up on a friendly bet about what the value of Dez vs the '17 1.01 rookie will be a year from now, I'd be down with making a friendly sig wager.

I'll pass on the sig bet since I own both, but I hope you're right. Well, specifically, I hope you're right because the 1.01 turns out to be that good, not because Dez falls off the cliff...
