Funchess for Malcolm Mitchell and 2.05

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

From a pure talent standpoint it's Funchess > Mitchell easily IMO
In his 2nd year in the league, Funchess had 23 receptions (entire NFL season). That's pitiful for a WR who played in 15 games.

Meanwhile, rookie Malcolm Mitchell had six clutch catches in the Super Bowl alone.

Case closed.
"Case closed", riiiiiight. Using one game's stats as a bold talking point might work for the casual redraft type people that play in standard ESPN leagues, but in dynasty that isn't the way it works....

Just like Jordan Howard is only worth a 2019 2nd because you saw it happen in one league, right?

To be fair, one had the greatest QB of all time throwing to him and the other had a very inaccurate QB in a run-heavy system. I agree Funchess has underachieved so far, but he's also a whole year younger than Mitchell even though he's been in the league an extra year. It's very possible that he breaks out in his 3rd year, a la Adams. Whereas Mitchel might not see the field next year unless there are some injuries to the other recievers.

I like funchess here without knowing who the pick will be. Like coogs, I'm expecting an expanded role. Roster space becomes an issue here with me aswell...I'd rather see if funchess see's a bigger role and go from there than stash mitch and the pick for a few yrs.

Geez!

2.05>>>>Funchess
Mitchell>>> Funchess

In think the Panthers go WR relatively early in this draft.

Hell I'll go as far to say:

Keyarris Garrett>Funchess :ewink:

At current perception, you killed it. Dynasty stock market view, where I like to buy low, I'm about to buy me some Funchess. Maybe try a 4th or keep looking to get as a throw in. It's how I grabbed Davante last season. Doesn't always work but neither do rookie picks.
