You should not be looking to acquire picks by giving up quality assets from that team. The best move with a solid team like yours is to draft smart with the picks you have.
Agree with this. I love the idea and the value, but you are a WIN NOW team with some high picks to get some youth.. As of now I think you're in the perfect position to stand pat.

I would take the 1.04 over Jordy, but I would want to see where the top 5-6 prospects end up. If Corey Davis landed in a perfect situation then he would be an excellent replacement for Jordy. You have depth at WR and could even pick Joe Mixon, who I have seen 2 mock drafts having him going to the Packers, at pick 1.04. Plus Jordy just scares me because he never seems to make it through a season.

Serious question: for those picking Jordy because his team is in a "win now" situation, does that mean you wouldn't deal him for the 1.01 or multiple 1sts either? I don't expect any pick this year to out produce Jordy, so where do we draw the line in saying it's not worth it for "his team?"

The value in my opinion is completely on the picks side. If you want to take the pick and flip it for a younger WR than Jordy, but someone who will produce more than the player you'll get with the 1.04, than that's an option too.

I went with Jordy because I think you have the team to win now. You can add some WR youth with 1.2, and get a strong TE at 1.10 if you go that direction.

Trade for the 1.4. Then shop one of your 3 picks for a younger, productive/proven WR. Target TY, Nuk, Arob, Alshon type player. Then you get production plus you reset the clock a few years from Jordy. You will not get close to this good of offer next year, you have to take it or die with Jordy.

With your team I would much rather have Jordy and try to win it this year.

As far as standalone value I would say they're pretty close, maybe Jordy being worth a tad bit more

Wow I'm shocked. I expected this to be a landslide in favor of the pick. I value Jordy around 1.07 today, this seems like an overpay of a age declining asset. I wouldn't pay 1.04 for a short term rental. Even for a win-now team, your hurting your future by not making this move.

This time next year, even a blurb about retirement comes out, you are now taking a 2nd for him. This might be the best deal you have to get a solid return before its to late. The 1.04 could get a nice trade return on a younger player aswell.

OP here. Thank you!!!

Y'all are amazing -- and terribly frustrating :). My own back-and-forth for all the reasons listed above is what made me post in the first place. You've given a ton of great thoughts and advice -- but I'm still no closer to deciding :).

Thank you again -- I appreciate your help! I'll keep you updated...

I've got Jordy and in a similar 'win now' situation. I think if I got offered the 1.04 it'd be too hard to pass up, but I generally don't get left holding the torch with ageing vets.

1.04 all day. This is your last chance to get that kind of value for Jordy.

I own Jordy in like 2 leagues and I'm just holding for now. If I'm contending on both of those teams, I'll just keep him and if I'm not contending, I'll trade him to someone looking to get a championship. Maybe the value won't be there at that point, but the reason to play is to win a championship, so if you own him on a win-now team, how do you move him for an unknown(1.04)?
