I think it's even, but I'd rather receive Jordan Howard.

Howard side easily. I'm not a believer in Pryor.

In most leagues I would probably take the Howard side as he's PROBABLY the best asset in the deal. But if the settings literally only allow for ONE single RB to start weekly, then give me Hyde & Pryor

I totally get this point, but I'd much rather go int a season with Howard as a backup to DJ in case of injury or bye week than Hyde. He drops off pretty quick after that. This trade basically gives you two RB1's as insurance to get to the playoffs.

Surprisingly close. If Hyde stays healthy for a whole season he puts up comparable numbers to Howard + td upside.

There are no guarantees, but Howard just had an OBJ-like rookie season that mostly only all-time great RBs were able to match as rookies.

Meanwhile as a Hyde owner I'm extremely worried he doesn't make it past the end of April without a major hit to his value.

I feel like this part doesn't get talked about enough with Hyde. Everyone is so gaga over the Shannahan impact that they forget that Shanahan has not always rolled with the perceived starter. One of the beauties of his system is that you dont need a great back to put up great numbers. This is especially a concern for an oft-injured back who becomes a free agent next season.

If they do take a back in the first 2 days, I think hyde's value will drop significantly. If they grab a later back, he could be a sneaky good stash.
