Michael Thomas vs. Allen Robinson

Considering there's too many factors at this point in time, it's probably safest to just rank them dead even.

ARob will probably never see another season like he did in 2015, and there's a good chance Thomas sees a better season than he did last year. They'll most likely meet in the middle somewhere in the long run.

Brees is old, yes, but I bet we have at least 2 more solid seasons out of him. There's no assurance that Bortles starts playing well, or they replace him with a suitable QB before NO replaces Brees with one. So if you're basing them off QB competency, you have to lean Michael. He has an elite QB in the near future, so grab him and enjoy the time with Brees, then trade him away, if that suits your fancy.

But, to give my personal opinion:
I had both on my roster and decided to trade one away to acquire 1.01. I chose to trade ARob because of their QB situations. I didn't want to trade away a receiver that I felt like was in a very good situation and keep one that was in a bad one. So I chose a "win-now" approach and kept the receiver that could help me win in the meantime, and still help me win in the future. Everything is a gamble in fantasy, so why not gamble on the player that has more upside?

A startup that I just did...ARob went 12th and Thomas went 14th...this was prior to cooks being traded, but even then I think they are close. ARob may be more talented but Thomas has the better situation.

Arob for me as for Thomas losing cooks and adding Ginn takes away some appeal being that now he'll be cover by the teams best defender. Taking nothing away from his talents plus Brees has maybe like 2yrs left

I like thomas more than arob but ive never been high on arob. He came crashing down to reality last yr and i dont think hell have that killer season again, but thomas is younger and i just like his game more, but again ive never been an arob fan.

Thomas is 24 years old.
Robinson is 23 years old.

Reverse. 1.07 + Thomas = Robinson for me. Robinson has a better top season, is younger, is a better athlete, and has done it against top corners more. Thomas has a better QB for a year or 2.
