Antonio Brown Value in PPR?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Antonio Brown Value in PPR?

Postby Buckhill Bombers » Thu Feb 09, 2017 8:19 am

Just curious what it would take for most to move him. I had an offer this morning in a 12 team PPR dynasty, offering Tevin Coleman, Corey Coleman, Geronimo Allison, and 1.5 pick for Brown. While that's several solid depth/upside players, I just don't think you can move an elite player for maybe/hopefuls with upside. You guys agree?

This owner has A Rob and Hilton. Curious if anyone thinks countering with one of them, plus one of the Coleman's and the 1st is worth a shot??

My current roster:

Big Ben, Prescott, Palmer
Freeman, Gio, Henry, Dion Lewis, A. Morris, DeAndre Washington
Brown, AJG, Adams, Pryor, DeSean, Garcon, Beasley
Gates, L. Green, J. Thomas, HIgbee
Picks 1.7, 2.7, 3.7

Its worth a shot.. I wouldn't take the original deal or even consider it.
ARob + 1.05 to most would be a solid offer so if you can get Arob, CColeman, and the 1.05 I would do it.
Seems like the owner is just trying to consolidate his bench to make a run at the ship.

Doubt anyone will give you ARob and 1.05 for AB unless they are totally bailing on Jacksonville situation or panicking about ARob.

I think in 12 team PPR would want 3 first value in return (players or picks). You aren't getting close to that IMO with Coleman, 1.05, and 2 players in Coleman and Allison which are crap shoots at best.

You would be better off looking for someone with a stable of younger players you like to make a deal. Given this guy seems like trying to consolidate roster for better starting value, unlikely he parts with TY or AROb as counter productive to his goal.

Diti51 I'm a little surprised you don't think anyone would give Arob and 1.5 for Brown. I think he's easily worth more than that. Look what Arob did last year, and how often the 1.5 can hit or miss. To give up the best WR the last what, 3 years for that? Hardly a great package. Put it this way, if I owned ARob and 1.5 I couldn't hit accept fast enough if someone offered me Brown...

Yeah Arob & 1.5 is a good deal. You can make a case Coleman should be in there for a great deal. Arob is still a sell now for many so maybe the owner is happy to offload. You are giving up a ton of 'consistent' production. Start with the best deal 1st he may just bite.
