The comp is not in terms of the quality of the player but rather the role and production: both were previously lightly-used players who are undersized but hit on an irreplicable frequency of long TDs in a few-week spurt. I'm not relying on that and, on any given week, I feel that I could find a WR on waivers with upside for that single game -- and Gabriel is simply an game-to-game upside player (one who, for the record, i started most of the last few weeks of the season).

Re: Thoughts on Taylor Gabriel?
I honestly see him as probably the 4th/5th target in ATL. Julio, both backs, then who? Sanu or a TE? I like them to use him to open things up and get him good looks. Teams seem to be getting into utility players. Like I said, I plan to sell but thats based on my roster and what I think I have going forward.
14 team dynasty. All TD's 6 points. Adjusted IDP points. Points for all return yards and scores.

Re: Thoughts on Taylor Gabriel?
Hooper seems likely to take a step forward. Shanahan leaving could impact some of the creativity in how they get Gabriel the ball too.
Re: Thoughts on Taylor Gabriel?
He was fantasy gold weeks 8 thru 15. Great DFS value play.skip wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2017 9:17 amWhile I agree he may not have much future value, I started him pretty much every week down the stretch. From week 8 thru week 16 (championship week) only once did he not have double digit points (9.4).patriotsbeatz wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2017 8:53 am Gabriel has some juice, no doubt, but he's 5'8" 167. He's good for real football. In fantasy, when will you ever start him?
His size is definitely the biggest hinderance for him ever being a high end producer.
I am curious if any thoughts have changed on Gabriel as we get closer to training camp. With Shannahan gone I would think everyone is off him. I wouldn't put too much stock into him dynasty-wise, but he seems like he could be a cheap/upside pickup that isn't rostered in most leagues. Justin Hardy hasn't done anything and Sanu constantly underperforms. Gabriel does have that big play ability and the Falcons aren't going to completely fall apart on offense without Shannahan, are they?

Re: Thoughts on Taylor Gabriel?
He's a sell if you can get anything decent for him.
Re: Thoughts on Taylor Gabriel?
I have him and I've been trying to peddle him for the past 6 months. Nobody's buying and his valuation is seemingly going down and down.
PFF marked him as the most efficient overall receiver in the NFL last year, which means there actual might be some sustainable gold there.
I will be drafting him in redrafts or startups based on the current Value, but wouldn't reach for him.
