Watkins can be a special player and a top 10-15 asset. 3 dimes does not equal 1 dollar

Watkins easily for me as well. Watkins is a WR1. Montgomery doesn't know what he is...he had a couple of great games, but has been mediocre at best and I don't think you can rely on him as more than a RB3/flex type. Same with Medidith...seems to be a depth guy who was at the right place at the right time in Chicago. No more than a bye week guy for me.

Classic sell high on the bundle and buy low on Watkins...and trying to bundle a bunch of meh players for a good one.

Gotta go Watkins I think the others are just role players that might not be more than bye week fill ins while Watkins is a every week top 10-15 WR when healthy

I'm excited for Meredith, a college QB, but this is Watkins by a country mile.

It's a poor offer, but I would consider moving watkins for a good deal. He is venturing into unreliable territory. I know he played well last week, but if he suffers another debilitating injury next season, all bets are off imo.

Thanks for the replys. I am a little surprised at the lopsidedness in the poll. When I see Montgomery, I see a David Johnson clone. Same size, both fast, both receivers before becoming a RB, both in an offense where that type of skill set is valued. Montgomery has run very effectively between tackles and in short yardage situations and wants to be a running back (although I don't know why somebody would want to play that brutal position). I see him as an RB1 next year. He will/should explode again vs Detroit, who always chokes and sucks in big, nationally televised games, ALWAYS. I believe or hope that he will cement that position in the playoffs.

With Meredith I see a 6'3 guy with good hands. He has won contested balls, speedy with downfield catches, and has been good with both Barkley and Hoyer. After Michael Thomas, I think he has had the best season of all the rookies. I know, its his second year but he did not play last year. He has been really elusive with the ball in his hands as well. I view him as a WR2 next year, low end or a high end WR3/flex.

As far as Watkins goes, I don't think there is a more physically gifted WR in the NFL. Jones, Green and DG Beckham are the only ones who physically can play with Sammy. My problem is not just a foot injury, which is very serious, more than a knee in my opinion, but the constant nagging injuries that hamper and limit his production. So yes, I view him as a WR1 in weekly, but I dont play weekly, I play dynasty and in that sense he is a WR2/3 overall for the season.

In closing I see your points about Sammy, but I am just surprised at the lopsidedness of the poll. He is getting two guys that he will probably start every week and a good chance of landing a good player at 2.3 and I get a high risk, high reward player. Is that really lopsided?

Spank I value Watkins lower than the consensus but believe in this case you are valuing Monty and Meredith far too highly. Monty played primarily due to injuries and had one game with double digit carries. His likely splits carries next season with another running back in the best situation. Meredith enjoyed most of his production with backup quarterbacks who will not be playing next season with CHI likely going with a new QB. Both are questionable plays going forward not even certain starters.
